Your poor family.

They sing along.

Three out of four of us can't really sing, but that doesn't mean we won't. ;)

Lots of Steely Dan. Such a great band. So many great musicians played with them through the years. For example, how many people here knew that Mark Knopfler played on this song?:

I will probably never like disco and I will always hate the BeeGees but watching Saturday Night Fever gave me a grudging appreciation for them. I also realize some bands I do like are influenced by Disco (e.g. Pulp).

Ha, is this band still around? I remember in the 90's hearing their classics "James Bondage" and "Groovy Underwear".

The BeeGees were the first band to write a Pachelbel pop song. (This was in 1966, about a decade before they became disco).
I'm not going to be posting as much on OC.Net as before. I might stop in once in a while though. But I've come to realize that real life is more important.

Surprisingly yes.  In '09 they actually put out another album, and they have one coming up for next year.  Interestingly, the '09 album came together by coincidence, after a few years of them basically doing nothing aside from 2 shows a year.

Hi Selam

I love all those songs. But specially Chic one....
Chic was a WONDERFUL disco band... Some songs that I like: Dance, dance, dance; My forbidden lover; I want your love, etc... great disco music...!!!!

I really don't understand today teenagers that dance very awful music...this was great.... of course there are a lot of wonderful music to dance... but one cannot compare this 70's stuff to today's dancing music...IMHO.
