Veruca Salt - Volcano Girls

I was binge listening/watching 90s rock/pop rock on youtube yesterday, and now today I have this song stuck in my head. I throught maybe rewatching it would dislodge the song somehow, but no luck so far...

Sorry.  Try drilling a hole in your head. That may work.

Hilarion (Alfeyev) - The Passion According To St. Matthew

His grace is quite the accomplished composer. I hope he'll be Patriarch of Moscow one day.

He is gifted on many levels but I think he is doing well in his current position within the MP.

had been looking at AOA's new single "Heart Attack". Nothing suggestive in the lyrics but there's plenty of fan service in the MV. Song overall describes a girl falling for a boy with some self cheering for AOA to fit the High school theme. While giving generous fan service the MV is simply depicting a high school team(played by all the AOA members) trying to win against the opposing team with ChoA falling for a guy. The audio itself is fitting of the MV but given how it sounds like fans and cheerleaders cheering on a team in a high school match. The bad thing is that best member Jimin got too little lines.                                                                                                                                               Link:    http://colorcodedlyrics.com/2015/06/aoa-heart-attack-simkunghae

Wow, that's kinda good. :)

I've known that band for some years but never got into it until now. Suprisingly Metal-ish and I like the vocalist too.

You live in a commune?!

And why do you need to listen to Burzum on headphones? Take command of your living space.

Yes, with three other people. My house is being renovated during summer so I moved out for next two months.

I already made them listen to Conchita Wurst and Bob Malmström so I thought that Burzum would a bit too much.

Any Duran Duran fans? They have a new single out, featuring Janelle Monáe and Nile Rodgers.
I'm not going to be posting as much on OC.Net as before. I might stop in once in a while though. But I've come to realize that real life is more important.

L'enfant et les sortilèges and l'heure Espsgnole

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00265T7SI/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?qid=1436140474&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70&keywords=ravel+l+enfant&dpPl=1&dpID=51AzYFA2NeL&ref=plSrch

Maurice Ravel's two operas.  I just received the dvd from Amazon.  Great stuff.  I've only seen one production of "l'enfant" and only heard some of the music off of l'heure...I don't have much to compare these specific productions to based off other performances, but it was darn tootin' good regardless. I always loved the music from "l'enfante", the other opera I am much less familiar with.

I went through the whole "Heart Attack" album and Little Mix's "Black Magic".

Notable "Heart Attack" album songs,

1)Luv Me: Simply about a girl asking a guy to love her in a nutshell. It is implied that the boy doesn't really love her of course through lyrics like "Don’t think too hard, don’t roll your eyes" or "Hurry and tell me, don’t think"(translated sometimes as "don't beat around the bush"). So the song has some underlying sadness beneath the happy tune that it projects.

2)One Thing: Overall describes the lament of a girl whose marriage just ended and how she wants one more day with her lover before they divorce for good.

3)Chocolate: The songs just a mash up of previous singles done by the band. Overall describes how Jimin wants to get the attention of a boy she likes.

Black Magic: Kinda got this from a You Tube advert and it was probably one of those rare occasions where the advert is useful. The song overall details a girl advertising her love potion that will make boys fall in love with her when used.

My Lord, My Lord, give my worthless soul the illumination of Wisdom in your mercy

Unsurprisingly, the Norwegian folk songs are way more interesting than the overdone crossover standards.
