I listened to that My Future Husband song by Megan Trailer.

Then I drank slivovitz and listened to Serbian rap.  I think I am better now.

What else would you be?  That's great stuff.
Please don't project meta-debates onto me.

EXID-Ah Yeah
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egqDPipqIAg

Great song but there seems to be 1D style plagarism whenever "Ah Yeah" is sung. Overall, it's basically about a girl rejecting a guy who keeps pressing her for private details. The MV goes deeper to critique government censorship which isn't surprising since they censored their last song, Up and Down given that their dance moves are raunchy(the raunchiness is less prevalent in the MV)

Breaking Benjamin-Failure
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2B8bXYXTb-o

Great song but it sounds just like all their other songs. The tone and lyrics that convey frustration is a delight to hear but then again, I have a bias towards songs about suffering, breakups, failed romances and pain. Still, I hope that Benjamin Burney wouldn't just stick to a single sound and actually find the courage to experiment around a bit.

Foster the People-Best Friend
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ndzln1UEyf0

Some parts of the MV feels like an Acid trip. But then again, the lyrics is  about Mark Foster's writing block. The MV while being trippy at times critiques the modelling industry. The pressures of the modelling industry is often reflected throughout the MV such as having to deal with competing models. Towards the end of the MV a reference to anorexia is made. Good song overall, I mean why else would I listen to it?

Kashmir - Ear

Bought this today. I had never heard of it but the album cover and the leaflet seemed neat. It turned out to be Danish somewhat artsy rock band. It's a bit amusing how Scandinavian this sounds like. Basically like Sigur Ros goes Kent. Maybe there's something to my stereotype about Scandinavians being more hipster than many other folks.

I have a soft spot for Arab pop. Don't know exactly why as I have no Arab friends and no one around listens to that kind music.

GFriend-Glass Bead, Neverland

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxnD5AViu6k (Glass Bead)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4M9KUdbce4 (Neverland)

I don't really like Glass Bead. Not much in the song itself to love. I'm only into it since one of the singers looked like my schoolmate. Plus, gym shorts and skirt flips are awesome.

Neverland is much better. The song in a nutshell is simply a girl fantasizing how she wants to be stuck on an island with the guy she likes and she doesn't care if anyone sees them kissing.

Damh the Bard, 'Iron From Stone'. (No audio available on the net yet, sadly.) Typical Damh - first he gives his own haunting rendition of 'Scarborough Faire' and then he writes an original song about how the story behind the old tune may have played out.

Their appearance on last week's Later... knocked me backwards. I had to go sampling, and I wasn't disappointed.

BTW, Mor, the new Muse is out this Friday. Judging by their performance on the same show, it's going to be a riot. ;)

This brings joy to my Monday, as well as the eagerness for it and Tuesday through Thursday to pass by quickly.  :)
Please don't project meta-debates onto me.
