I know this is just going to break everyone's heart, but Ukraine will not be competing in Eurovision next year.

It will be interesting to see how many points Russia will get. Hopefully this time they won't get the usual gas points.

I'm surprised no one has made a Eurovision singing game for video consoles. At least for sale in Europe. :)

I'm pretty sure there must be numerous. At least Singstar seemed to have some kind of Eurovision edition.

Mor Ephrem is a nice guy.  Just say sorry and it will all be ok. Say I had things that were inside troubling me but I didn't know how to express appropriately. I will not behave that way again but I am seeking help.

...if you feel Mor really is in spiritual danger, pray the Jesus prayer for him.   :police:

Digital Witness by St. Vincent. This lady seems like the lovechild of Dale Bozzio and Brian Eno.
I would be happy to agree with you, but then both of us would be wrong.

That was actually pretty good.

I enjoyed it too.  I'm not sure I like "two hundred percents", but if that's the only objectionable reference in five minutes of otherwise Orthodox Christology...  :)

Ai* Think So-Poppy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qv74qtaoJks

English Translated lyrics-
http://www4.atwiki.jp/vocaloidenglishlyric/m/pages/443.html?guid=on

*"Ai" in Japanese and Chinese can mean "Love" so the translated title of the song could be "Love thinks so". "Ai" is probably used as some sort of pun since "Ai" and the English "I" share the same pronunciation.

The song overall expresses the primal fear of being alone.

try your library's CD collection....
You might want to get the 'St. Matthew Passion' too - it's the one with the "Sacred Head sore wounded' bit in it.

Danish Ramble

So to sum up what I learned from this video, as compared to my past experiences:

If I can't understand what a girl is saying when she rambles = I'm very interested
If I understand what a girl is saying when she rambles = I would usually do anything to get away

Live feed of, I guess, a bunch of shows about recording/mixing for metal music. I caught the last couple minutes of the last one, and now it's just doing in between stuff/commercials. Last one I watched was a 2 minute commercial consisting of a woman and kid making a mask of things like furries and googly eyes.  ;D  :D METAL!!!!!

CPE Bach - Sonata for Flute and Harpsichord in E Major H506

Goes well with coffee.
If you cannot remember everything, instead of everything, I beg you, remember this without fail, that not to share our own wealth with the poor is theft from the poor and deprivation of their means of life; we do not possess our own wealth but theirs.  If we have this attitude, we will certainly offer our money; and by nourishing Christ in poverty here and laying up great profit hereafter, we will be able to attain the good things which are to come. - St. John Chrysostom

Free-Cover by Lily and Himawari

http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm12708754

This is the first English song I posted here or at least the closest thing to one. Of course, at some parts of the song, the Grammar is quite laughable. Even some of the English words are pronounced in the stereotypical Asian accent. Since the singers are Japanese, the level of English displayed is still pretty good for someone who does not speak the language.

The unique thing about this song is perhaps the fact that the chorus is sung in Japanese and English at the same time simultaneously. Himawari sings the Japanese and Lily sings the English. Unfortunately, since Himawari's vocals are powerful during the chorus, the English part of the chorus becomes nothing more than background rumblings(If anyone listened, you would know what I mean).

Rats. :( There was a documentary about Genesis on TV, featuring all their hits, followed by a selection of their Top of the Pops appearances. Let's just say Peter Gabriel looked really weird in 1974, even for, well, 1974.

Sounds fairly normal when it comes to Folk music. At least Folk Metal tends to arouse your inner Scandinavian even if you were coming from, say, South America.
