KONGOS - Come With Me Now

I've been listening to that a lot lately!

More songs require accordions and steel guitars.  Reminded me of zydeco.
Happy shall he be, that shall take and dash thy little ones against the rock. Alleluia.

Once Christ has filled the Cross, it can never be empty again.

Momentary Lapse of Reason by Pink Floyd
Playing the Angel by Depeche Mode

Those are on pretty much constant rotation, though I typically just put the iPod on shuffle and let it play all day.

Outstanding musical taste!

Schubert lieder with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau and Gerald Moore. My husband is cringing, but it serves him right for the stuff he inflicts on me from time to time.

I like Schubert lieder. I have gone through some possibilities and all that I could come up with is that you should not have played Die Schöne Müllerin, it could signal the wrong message (more or less a threat of things to come). To set things right, I suggest Der Erlkönig, you guys can make a game of it. I assume you have a young son so this would be perfect and would increase bonding between your son and husband. Throughout the lieder your husband will be giving your son a horsey back ride, trying to escape from you (since I believe it was a female spirit in the original Danish version of the story that killed the little boy). It would probably be best to change the ending of the story since you win in the end. It is also Goethe exercise, so do not forget that!

Smoke so much __ you wouldn't believe,

Gosh James. Why am I not surprised?
One hides amid pornography, angry music, television that shows the worst of mankind, misanthropic politics, an internet populace led by all the passions: and then one asks, "Where is God?"

I wonder why it is called OrthodoxChristianity.net?
