Acantus. Mind=blown, repeatedly. Such a shame they disappeared.

"as [you've] informed us that respect chills love, it is natural to conclude that all your pretty flights arise from your pampered sensibility; and that, vain of this fancied preeminence of organs, you foster every emotion till the fumes, mounting to your brain, dispel the sober suggestions of reason. It is not in this view surprising that when you should argue you become impassioned, and that reflection inflames your imagination instead of enlightening your understanding." - Mary Wollstonecraft

Lightnin' Hopkins - Bring Me My Shotgun

I loved the commentary of Bryan Alvarez on this song, like about how Lightnin asks someone to bring him his shotgun, like it's no big deal, or how there apparently was a certain number of other men he was ok with his wife being with, but now she has simply been with one too many.  ;D

I love that I can buy music by a band on another continent, order it on a website using a language I don't understand, pay for it using a form of currency that I have never held in my hands, and receive near-instant access to the music after payment.

o for a thousand tongues to sing- my God, the melody is so danceable
She hears, upon that water without sound,
A voice that cries, “The tomb in Palestine
Is not the porch of spirits lingering.
It is the grave of Jesus, where he lay.”
We live in an old chaos of the sun,
Or old dependency of day and night,
Or island solitude, unsponsored, free,
Of that wide water, inescapable.

I was surprised by it myself. I have been meaning to listen to what you are playing but I haven't yet and I may need OCnet tech support to simplify the task on weekends when I have time. Case in point, when I search for posts by user Arachne in General Forums/reviews and a mandatory letter, "a" in my case since it is already in your name, the topic of this thread does not show up. Others do show up. I will figure out the rules sooner or later.

Are you content with just being an intelligent hairless ape that just cannot resist the primitive urge to fling poo at people passing by,  just like a monkey in the zoo ?

Do you stay in the field and do the work that you accepted, or do you continuously run back into town and give people black eyes, or maybe push them down the stairs, because they don't do what you do ?

Septuagint - Negative Void Trinity (promo vid)

Black metal from Greece. Their first release (EP) came out a few days ago. Available for $6 from here if you're interested.
"as [you've] informed us that respect chills love, it is natural to conclude that all your pretty flights arise from your pampered sensibility; and that, vain of this fancied preeminence of organs, you foster every emotion till the fumes, mounting to your brain, dispel the sober suggestions of reason. It is not in this view surprising that when you should argue you become impassioned, and that reflection inflames your imagination instead of enlightening your understanding." - Mary Wollstonecraft

 ;D
But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
Leviticus 19:34
