Trying to figure out what I listen to when I want something less harsh. I think it's Disturbed. Smiley Actually, compared to Motorhead, it's a big change for me. So, time for something soothing:  Disturbed-Indestructible (http://youtu.be/Hj2vU2nr5Jw)

Yeah, this is truly harsh. The stuff I listen to is probably better categorized by depth, but it's not necessarily the "meanest".

That practice is only for thoughtful beginners. I'm pretty sure Osho's mind was thoroughly empty.

The most famous (or infamous) conservative radio talk show host in America. I know Rush says it, or a variation of it. I didn't recall (or wasn't aware) that Chesterton also had said it.

The (hopefully) final mixes of my band's latest recording session.

Nothing makes me hate songs more than post-recording but pre-release listening.  It's exhausting but necessary, especially when you're a control freak like I am.  This is why I always want to get an outside person I trust to produce these things but no one else wants to pony up the dough to pay such a person.

Nothing like absolutely hating a song you wrote that you were once proud of. Wink

That's great! Hope we can hear it when it's done. Thinking about picking up a guitar and keys again and recording some covers.

The beginning of the end:

Fresh is the Word - Mantronix with MC Tee

The first real "production" forward stuff. Great stuff, but producers who were slow on the drawl would look back to this to figure out how to program a beat and we end up in well, today's land over-produced musak.
