Listening to a track my doppelgaenger dropped for our birthday.

It's ridiculous.

New karaoke track for sure.

Volcano Choir.
Even if we have thousands of acts of great virtue to our credit, our confidence in being heard must be based on God's mercy and His love for men. Even if we stand at the very summit of virtue, it is by mercy that we shall be saved.

If you're talking about the track I think you're talking about, I'll say that there's something oddly comforting about hearing Em say "faggot." I don't necessarily condone the use of slurs or anything, but the timbre of his voice when he says it instills in me a nostalgia for a simpler time.

He's pretty much the only person I know who uses it correctly.

And in the best way possible too.

According to the tracklists there are barely any skits.

I loved how he demolished ICP on his 2nd LP.

Greatest cryptodiss ever. Kanye looks more the clown than ever. Who knew that could happen? The media are just making him even more foolish attempting to compare the two.

It will sell millions and be stole by millions and the track is pure head pr0n.

No one else has nor can do that.

No.

Why does Em continue to use wack tepid producers I have no idea.

"Not Afraid" could have been mega if the production was even half decent. Worst pistol shot audio ever used.

Beat is so wack.

Let's see what Dre delivers, cause on Relapse it musically was hot from what I remember.

Dude, he has to give the haterz something. The production on this number works cause I am confident it is smack down of goofs like Kanye who sound like Levar Burton on Reading Rainbow without it.

As much as I like some of the layered production that grew up in the last 80s / early 90s, boom-bap is rap.

If you can't stand on your own being backed by just by a Casio keyboard you cudda bought in 1986 at Kmart, then get off stage.

Just recently was listening to Only Built 4 and Paul's Boutique, both great albums (the latter which I supported to much grief when it came out and before everyone got on board later), but yank the production and the former is OK and the latter . . . well it is the Beastie Boys.

Em shudda long ago left the production studio and game and found a DJ to spin with him.

You know, I've heard industry RUMORS, that if you want airplay, violent sounds have be "stylized" due to the forever murky world of the FCC.

Could be nonsense, but I wouldn't doubt it.

Why of course it is. It's a Swedish company so I would be suprised if it wasn't. I have the free version but lately I've been thinking of subscribing. It's nice but it would be even nicer without advertisements and weekly limits on listening.

Have you heard Thom Yorke's comments on Spotify?
No ?
Yorke called Spotify “the last desperate fart of a dying corpse,” by which he means the “old industry,” meaning the traditional, major label-run music business.

Yet supposedly YouTube pays even less than .40 cents

Thom Yorke Hates Spotify, Doesn’t Mind YouTube for Some Reason
http://evolver.fm/2013/10/11/thom-yorke-hates-spotify-doesnt-mind-youtube-for-some-reason/

In an interview with The Guardian, Yorke claimed that tech companies are trying to turn songs into commodities, stripping their value as art.

"They have to keep commodifying things to keep the share price up," Yorke said in the interview. "But in doing so they have made all content, including music and newspapers, worthless in order to make their billions. And this is what we want? I still think it will be undermined in some way."

On Monday, July 15th, Thom Yorke took to Twitter to blast music-streaming application "Spotify" for ruining the music business model. Yorke has reportedly pulled his solo songs from "Spotify", claiming that "new artists get paid f*** all with this model."

"Make no mistake, new artists you discover on Spotify will not get paid. Meanwhile shareholders will shortly be rolling in it," he tweeted.

I'll save my opinions on Em's new track later. Sorry orthonorm but I can't rationalize that awful production. It doesn't work.

How can he even call this album MMLP2 is beyond me.

Anywho orthonorm, do you listen to anything else besides hip hop? Any rock music?

I was just listening to the Sex Pistols last night and then trying to get my head around Clash's Sandinista... They just reissued all of their albums so I'm listening again .
