Horrible 90's one-hit wonders reconfigured for Muzak. Whoever thought it was a good idea to pipe this drivel over office intercoms needed his head examined.

Nothing in particular at the moment, but I like all kinds of music ecsept for most country, and heavy metal and absolutely no rapping. Mostly thouhg, I like Irish music, but even then I can't stand the button accordian that many Irish artists have adopted. If any are you interested, you can check youtube and listen to the Cheiftains and the Clancy Bros.

I really love "Love Song" by Sara Bareilles. Yeah, yeah, yeah; it's a pop song but I like it anyway. And Sara's super easy on the eyes. Can I get an 'Amen' from all the fellas? Love Song .

Goin' old school lately with George Benson's Breezin' and Chuck Mangione's Feels So Good The very best of "smooth jazz" before there was such a thing as smooth jazz (which became a caricature of the good, early stuff). Although alot of the CTI label jazz throughout the 70's specialized in that funky jazz with artists like Stanley Turrentine, George Benson, Joe Farrell and others. Although neither Breezin' or FSG were on that label.

Thank goodness these posts have dates attached to them as I was was utterly aghast at "my" thoughts, or at least the way in which "I" worded them. You see, I have a bad memory and must jot down all my passwords in order to carry on with most of my tasks. My 13 year old nephew happened to be visiting me on the day in question and was able to chance upon my password for this forum. Grammar aside, I can't say I disagree with him though.

Though I believe this type of music to be 'flamenco' (I could be incorrect), I really enjoy it. The song is called "Tico Tico" and I first encountered it while listening to Paco de Lucia, but this young man's talent, while not as flamboyant as Paco, es muy magnifico! Tico Tico Tico Tico performed by Paco For those of you thinking you're not familiar with Paco, perhaps you'll remember the Brian Adams song "Have you really ever loved a woman?" If so, Paco is featured sitting in the video and plays the classical guitar throughout the song. Have you ever really loved...

Well, it is flamenco, but of a decidedly Caribbean variety. True Flamenco originates from the Roma peoples around Andalusia and has a much straighter rhythm. Paco de Lucia plays with a more syncopated rhythm, and the steel drums are a nice touch. Very interesting; it takes a true master to bend a song like this, hammer on a new genre and actually pull it off so well.
Okay, that was corny. I couldn't resist.

Perhaps you meant bongos? Steel drums would absolutely ruin any flamenco song. No disrespect to any steel drums aficianodos out there.
