Santana's new album is out today! This is an all instrumental album that I have been waiting for him to make for a long time now. My CD should arrive tomorrow! I have listened to the title track, and it's awesome. Also, Santana will be performing tonight on the Tonight Show which airs at 11:30 eastern time on NBC. I'm so excited!!! Selam

The Dillards * Doug's Tune An awesome instrumental. * Dooley About an Ozarks moonshiner. These boys are world-famous, playing all over Europe and Asia. You may have seen them on the Andy Griffith Show as 'The Darlings'. They grew up just down the road in Salem, MO. Doug Dillard, who wrote these songs and more, just passed away yesterday. Memory Eternal!

Jimmy Eat World is from AZ! That's absolutely true, and it is probably a close second to the Gin Blossoms in well-known-ness, but I could be wrong, it could be the other way around. Given the quality of Arizona bands that manage to break into moderate success, it's really a shame we haven't had any for a while. There was a time when I thought a band called Dear and the Headlights - my sister was actually friends, at one point, with over half the band, seeing as how they had been attending our church for sometime (which is where they met) when they formed. They toured with bands like the Plain White T's and Mae, and later with Jimmy Eat World and Paramore, had a spot at Lollapalooza, and were on the 2009 Warped Tour. But, alas, they dissolved in 2011. Hopefully Gospel Claws - who's lead singer is the original bassist from Dear and the Headlights - will manage to break out (they played at SXSW last year). Anyways, Best I Ever Had - Vertical Horizons

I love the melody, so fitting for the hymn, I could imagine the, all in heaven and earth singing this hymn, when children of Adam reentered paradise led by the New Adam Christ The Victorious. the multitude's voice rising up in joyful thanksgiving. I could imagine Mary sister of Moses dancing once more along with David with Drums & cymbals to the ululating of the angels..with this hymn..in the tradition of Israel...
