I just came across a really great song called "Citizens of the World." I like it a lot. It is a collaboration between five artists from around the world; Cheng Lin (China), Flying Machines (USA), Kailash Kher (India), Khaled (Algeria), and King Sunny Ade (Nigeria). I really like the message of the song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ep8LppZBi6w&

The Mars Volta - L'Via L'Viaquez http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JphZtpafdKY&feature=fvstListened to them all day. Had to drive across L.A. into Orange County to have some dental work done. Bleh. But Mars Volta always cheers me up!

All That Remains - Hold On
Definitely my favorite new album this year. Though when you've only bought three that's not such a difficult feat.

Never heard of them. They must have a significant following if they have Vevo. Interesting sound.

Sean's "Friendly Fire" album is interesting. My ex let me borrow it when it first came out. Didn't know what to make of it, but "Dead Meat" sure was a catchy song. Reminded me of the movie "Rosemary's Baby" for some reason.

Tourniquet - A Dog's BreakfastGreat tune, though the video doesn't do the song justice as the guitars need to be more in your face during the verses to get the full effect.

Underoath - In Division
Just bought the new album... didn't even know they were coming out with one this year. Ironic title for the first song (In Division), given that they split with the last original member of the band earlier this year. Hopefully this album will be a return to the form they had on Define the Great Line, when they had enough sense to include some slower and more atmospheric bits. So far, so good.

Senses Fail - Coward
Bought this at Walmart today without knowing what they sounded like. *shrugs* They're ok I guess. Not gonna get listened to a lot, but certainly not the worst I've bought this year. 2010 hasn't been a great year as far as what I like in music. However, I decided to do a little digging regarding which bands are releasing albums next year, and quite a few bands that I like (Lazarus A.D., Opeth, Megadeth, Corrosion of Conformity, Manowar, Lamb of God, Tourniquet, and Believer) are supposedly releasing a new studio album in 2011.

Spent some time with Ancient Faith Radio yesterday. Caught a couple of good speeches along with the chant. Also, since Christmas is on the way, this'd be a fine time to break out my Russian chant CDs. Nothing like some good voices!

I dedicate this song for the lost generation of this country, ! 13 XII 1981 ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oG6pEolAKm8&NR=1Pewien stary ktoś nagle zgubił sens, w złe kręgi wpadł, ... wytłumaczyć umiał sobie wtedy, że ważne są tylko te dni które nie znamy, te dni na które czekamy.. There was an old man, who lost his sense of life, joy .. he could only console himself when he remembered that only the days which are to come are important,
