Your prayers, please.
« on: May 21, 2003, 11:29:33 AM »
Please pray for me, a man in some desperation.  I am so far unable to overcome my debilitating sins, and I and my family are suffering for it.  I haven't come to despair and don't believe I shall, by the grace of God.  But please, as my prayers are poor, inneffectual and increasingly difficult to commit myself to, I hope to be buoyed by those of anyone willing to ask God on my behalf for some relief and assistance in a life of increasing fear and torment.

In all faith and confidence, I would also request that you petition the Saints on my behalf, whichever of those Saints you favor, as I've only recently begun to give credit and attention to the prayers and assistance of this great host of God's beloved who are in His Paradise.

Thank you.  I am sorry for being vague.

I will pray, as well.

The first condition of salvation is to keep the norm of the true faith and in no way to deviate from the established doctrine of the Fathers.
