Went from looking at the new place to settling in... in only seven days!

In so doing - carrying furniture up stairs - I got my first hernia, an inguinal one on the right. It doesn't hurt.

Please pray that it's fixed quickly and easily.

Ouch!  Been there.  I had a right inguinal hernia repaired when I was 17; to this day I don't know how it developed.  It never caused me a problem until about the third month of Marine Corps boot camp, then the Marine Corps decided to not release me to the Reserve immediately after graduation until I got my hernia fixed one week later.  (That way I could get the problem surgically repaired on the government's dime.)

Having been where you are, I say, "Lord, have mercy!"
