Christ is Risen!

My husband & I (married 10+ years) are planning to be baptized into Orthodoxy soon.  Glory to God!!

My question is:  Is our marriage considered valid in the Church?  Is there a special ceremony of blessing for those converting after having been married as non-Orthodox?

I'm sure there are others here who can give you a more detailed answer, but yes, a priest can bless your marriage. I know of a number of people who were married outside the Church who have had this done.

The first condition of salvation is to keep the norm of the true faith and in no way to deviate from the established doctrine of the Fathers.
