She lives in Kyiv (Kiev), Ukraine, 77 y.o. Severe stenocardia (angina, heart ache), several days in a row.

Is she seeing a doctor about this?  Something like this with my family history would drive me to seek immediate medical attention.  Lord, have mercy.

Thank you, Peter. She is an MD herself and she is rather skeptic about "those doctors, what do they know." Smiley There are some good friends around, though, I am sure they will react if things get worse. They will drag her to a hospital if that's what's needed, ignoring even her stubbornness. Right now, she is in her apartment, taking pills...

Lord have mercy.

My dad had angina for a long time and then he got medical help.  With proper medication and a pace maker, he is much better.  Hopefully your mom will get similar help.

My dad also had angina for some time.  Unfortunately, it was the precursor to the heart attack that ultimately killed him, hence the family history that has me more concerned about such things.
