Ode 1st of the Nativity, chanted by the Karakalou (Mt. Athos) monks, live recording, Christmas 2003:

4 Idiomela of the Royal Hours on the Eve of the Nativity, chanted by the Vatopedi (Mt. Athos) monks:

1st Hour
Mode Pl. 4th
Poem by St. Sophronios Patriarch of Jerusalem

Bethlehem, make ready, let the manger be beautifully adorned; cave, receive, the Truth is come! The shadow has passed away, and God has appeared to men out of the Virgin, having been formed like us and deifying the flesh. Wherefore, Adam is renewed with Eve, crying out: Goodwill has appeared on earth to save our race.

Mode Pl. 4th
Καὶ νῦν...
Τάδε λέγει Ἰωσὴφ πρὸς τὴν Παρθένον· Μαρία, τὶ τὸ δρᾶμα τοῦτο, ὃ ἐν σοὶ τεθέαμαι; ἀπορῶ καὶ ἐξίσταμαι, καὶ τὸν νοῦν καταπλήττομαι! Λάθρα τοίνυν ἀπ' ἐμοῦ, γενοῦ ἐν τάχει. Μαρία, τὶ τὸ δρᾶμα τοῦτο, ὃ ἐν σοὶ τεθέαμαι; ἀντὶ τιμῆς αἰσχύνην, ἀντ' εὐφροσύνης, τὴν λύπην, ἀντὶ τοῦ ἐπαινεῖσθαι, τὸν ψόγον μοι προσήγαγες. Οὐκ ἔτι φέρω λοιπόν, τὸ ὄνειδος ἀνθρώπων· ὑπὸ γὰρ Ἱερέων ἐκ τοῦ ναοῦ, ὡς ἄμεμπτον Κυρίου σὲ παρέλαβον· καὶ τὶ τὸ ὁρώμενον;

Glory...Now and ever...
Thus spoke Joseph to the Virgin: "Mary, what is this doing that I behold in you? I am perplexed and astonished, and my mind is horrified! Therefore, secretly and swiftly be gone from me. Mary, what is this doing that I see in you? Instead of honor, shame; instead of gladness, sorrow; instead of praise, you have brought me reproof. No longer shall I bear the reproach of men, for from the priests, out of the temple of the Lord, I have taken you as one who is blameless; and what does this appear to be?"

3rd Hour
Mode Pl. 2nd
Poem by St. Sophronios Patriarch of Jerusalem

This is our God, none other can be compared to Him; it is He Who was born of the Virgin and dwelt among men. Laid in a poor manger, the only-begotten Son appeared as mortal man, and the Lord of glory is wrapped in swaddling clothes. The star calls the Magi to His adoration. Let us also chant: Holy Trinity, save our souls.

Mode 3rd

Glory to the Father nad to the Son and the Holy Spirit
Now and ever and to the ages of ages amen
Tell us, Joseph, how is it that you bring to Bethlehem, great with Child, the Maiden whom you have taken from the sanctuary? "I have searched the prophets," said he, "and have received tidings from an angel, and I am persuaded that Mary shall ineffably give birth to God, Whom Magi from the East shall come to worship, doing homage with precious gifts." Lord, Who was incarnate for our sake, glory to You.

Verses from Psalm 136, Μode 3rd (after Khourmouzios the archiver), chanted by the Choir of the Pancypriot Union of Church Chanters:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSGnGVt44cw

By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept when we remembered Zion. Alleluia.
We hung our harps upon the willows in the midst of it. Alleluia.
How shall we sing the Lord’s song in a foreign land? Alleluia.
If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill. Alleluia.
Let my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth, if I do not remember you, Alleluia.

Verses from the same psalm, chanted by the Nun Mariam, Mode 3rd:

By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept when we remembered Zion. Alleluia.
We hung our harps upon the willows in the midst of it. Alleluia.
How shall we sing the Lord’s song in a foreign land? Alleluia.
Let my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth, if I do not remember you, Alleluia.
If I do not exalt Jerusalem above my chief joy, Alleluia.

Two pieces by an Arabic Greek Catholic choir (melchite):
St. Nectarios hymn in Arabic
Theotokos kontakion (To Thee The Champion) in Greek

I don't suport such way of singing, it's just out of curiosity
Pray for persecuted Christians, especially in Serbian Kosovo and Raška, Egypt and Syria

My Orthodox liturgical blog "For what eat, while you can fast" in Polish (videos featuring chants in different languages)

Matins Doxastikon of Palm Sunday after Thrasyboulos Stanitsas in Mode Plagal of 2nd (Demetrios Nikou, live recording):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oODKVAM-JoU

Six days before the Feast of Passover Jesus entered Bethany. His disciples asked Him: "Where should we prepare for Thee to eat the Passover?" He answered "When you have entered the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him into the house which he enters and tell the master of the house: The Teacher says to you: Here I shall eat the Passover with my disciples."

The Troparion of the Bridegroom Services "Behold the Bridegroom comes" in Mode Plagal of the 4th triphonic (Panaghiotis Neochoritis, live recording):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypbztPUFevc

Behold, the Bridegroom comes in the middle of the night, and blessed is the servant He shall find vigilant; but unworthy is he whom he shall find neglectful. Beware therefore, O my soul, lest you be weighed down by sleep, lest you be given over to death and be closed out from the kingdom; but rise up crying out: "Holy! Holy! Holy are You our God; through the protection of Bodiless Powers, have mercy on us.

Blessed Holy Week to all.

The Holy Wednesday Matins Doxastikon (Hymn of Kassiani) after Peter the Peloponnesian in Mode Plagal of 4th, "En Psalterio Choir" (live recording 2013):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uf2HgYcimPs

τίς ἐξιχνιάσει ψυχοσῶστα Σωτήρ μου;

Glory to the Father nad to the Son and the Holy Spirit
Now and ever and to the ages of ages amen.
O Lord, the woman who had fallen into many sins,
having perceived Thy divinity received the rank of myrrh-bearer,
offering Thee spices before Thy burial wailing and crying:
Woe is me, for the love of adultery
and sin hath given me a dark and lightless night;
accept the fountains of my tears
O Thou Who drawest the waters of the sea by the clouds
incline Thou to the sigh of my heart
O Thou Who didst bend the heavens by Thine inapprehensible condescension;
I will kiss Thy pure feet
and I will wipe them with my tresses.
I will kiss Thy feet Whose tread when it fell on the ears of Eve in Paradise
dismayed her so that she did hide herself because of fear.
Who then shall examine the multitude of my sin and the depth of Thy judgment?
Wherefore, O my Saviour and the Deliverer of my soul turn not away from Thy handmaiden O Thou of boundless mercy.

Holy Thursday Matins Troparion "When the glorious disciples" in Mode Plagal of 4th triphonic (Patriarchal Choir of the Society of Musical friends of Constantinople in Athens):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKq0dS9D_FA

When the glorious Disciples were enlightened at the washing of the feet before the supper, then the impious Judas was darkened, ailing with avarice, and to the lawless judges he betrays Thee, the Righteous Judge. Behold, O lover of money, this man who because of money hanged himself! Flee from the greedy soul which dared such things against the Master! O Lord, Who are good towards men, glory to Thee!

The Holy Friday Matins' Fifteenth Antiphon "Today is hung upon the Tree" after Peter the Peloponnesian in Mode Plagal of 2nd (Tropos Choir):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKPbybsb9V8

Today is hung upon the Tree He who hung the earth upon the waters. He who is King of the angels is arrayed in a crown of thorns. He who wraps the heavens in clouds is wrapped in the purple of mockery. He who in Jordan set Adam free receives blows upon His face. The Bridegroom of the Church is transfixed with nails. The Son of the Virgin is pierced with a spear. We venerate Thy Passion, O Christ. Show us also Thy glorious Resurrection.

Idiomelon (Samoglasen) of the Matins of Holy Friday after Pringos in Mode Pl. of 4th (Choir of Cretan Masters):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCEiqfkkAW8

Already the pen of sentence is being dipped in ink by unjust judges, and Jesus is being convicted and condemned to the Cross.
Αnd creation, seeing its Lord on the Cross, is suffering.
But Υου Who for me suffer in Your bodily nature, O loving Lord, Glory to You!

The Holy Saturday Matins Idiomelon (Samoglasen) "The sun had hidden its rays" after Markos Vasileiou (+1919) in Mode Plagal of 1st (Vatopedi Choir):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cIQqND-bHQ

Seeing that the sun had hidden its rays
and the veil of the Temple had been rent at the death of the Saviour,
Joseph did approach Pilate and did plead with him crying and saying;
Give me this stranger, who from his youth hath wandered like a stranger.
Give me this stranger, whom his kinsmen killed in hatred like a stranger.
Give me this stranger at whom I wonder, beholding him as a guest of death.
Give me this stranger who knoweth how to take in the poor and strangers.
Give me this stranger whom the Jews in envy estranged from the world.
Give me this stranger that I may bury him in a tomb, who being a stranger hath no place whereon to lay his head.
Give me this stranger, to whom his Mother, beholding him dead, shouted crying;
“O my Son and my God, even though my vitals be wounded,
and my heart burns, as I behold thee dead,
yet trusting in thy Resurrection, I magnify thee.”
In these words the honourable Joseph pleaded with Pilate,
took the Saviour’s body,
and with fear wrapped it in linen and balm, placing thee in a new tomb,
O thou who grantest to all everlasting life and the great mercy.

Blessed art Thou, O Lord, teach me Thy statutes.
The assembly of angels was amazed, beholding Thee, a man among the dead, yet O Saviour destroying the stronghold of death, and with Thyself raising up Adam, and freeing all from Hades.
Blessed art Thou, O Lord, teach me Thy statutes.
Very early the myrrh-bearing women hastened, unto thy tomb, lamenting. But the angel stood before them and said: The time for lamentation is passed! Weep not! But tell of the resurrection to the apostles.
Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
Let us all worship the Father, and His Son, and the Holy Spirit; the Holy Trinity, one in essence; crying with the Seraphim: Holy, Holy, Holy art Thou, O Lord.
Both now and ever, and unto the ages of ages, amen.
In bringing for the Giver of Life, thou hast delivered Adam from Sin, O Virgin, and hast brought joy to Eve instead of sorrow. Man thus fallen from life, hath thereunto been restored by Him who of thee was incarnate, both God and man.
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia! Glory to Thee, O God (x3).

The Paschal Communion Hymn "Тело Христово - Receive Ye the Body of Christ"; the language if I'm not mistaken is Church Slavonic (the choir is Bulgarian "Трисагион" - "Trisagion") and it's chanted according to the Byzantine tradition (Mode 1st):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5DrnEuKNnQ

The 15th Antiphon by the same choir (Mode Plagal of 2nd):

The Paschal Communion Hymn "Receive ye the Body of Christ, taste ye the Fountain of immortality" after Balasios the Priest (late 17th c.) in Mode 1st, Vatopedi Choir:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7C1bn_XpQ5w

Also today reposed in the Lord, elder Spyridon the Hymnographer, one of the handful officially named "hymnographers" in the Greek speaking Churches, after short illness; he belonged to the hymnographic brotherhood of Μικρὰ Ἁγία Ἄννα (Mikra Aghia Anna) of Athos, and was the disciple of elder Gerasimos Mikrayannanitis the Hymnographer (+1991):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBqq_y-L6Hg
After 1:30 you can listen to his thunderous voice chanting "Kyrie Eleison".
Elder Spyridon pray to God for us.

562 years ago today...
May the Memory of those who fell defending the Queen of Cities, be Eternal.

Τhe earliest recorded (late 15th c.) lamentation over the Fall of Constantinople, from Thrace (Mode Pl. of 1st, of the hard diatonic genus) chanted by Maria Kontoyannopoulou:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HeVYd6mCMv4

Γιατὶ πουλὶ μ΄ δέν κελαηδεῖς, πῶς κελαηδοῦσες πρῶτα;
Γιὰ πῶς μπορῶ νὰ κελαηδῶ;

Hey bird, why don't you warble? How did you warble before?
Ah, but how may I warble?
They have cut down my little wings, they stole my voice
They took, sigh, our City
They took our City and our Haghia-Sophia
and Panagia bitterly laments

Idiomelon (Samoglasen) of funerals after Peter the Peloponnesian in Mode Grave (Heirmologic) chanted by Michael Mamaes:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rt7ljrj2CiU

Give rest, our Saviour, to our brothers/sisters, whom you have taken over from transient things, as they cry, "Glory to you!"

O Heavenly King, the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, Who art everywhere and fillest all things; Treasury of Blessings, and Giver of Life - come and abide in us, and cleanse us from every impurity, and save our souls, O Good One.

St. Porphyrios of Kavsokalyvia prays "O Heavenly King":

The Vesperal Dogmatikon of Pentecost after Peter Philanthides (late 19th c.) in Mode Plagal of 4th (chanted by the nuns of Ormylia):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J29K-sGhOaI

Glory to the Father and to the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Both now and ever and unto the ages of ages, amen.
Come, O ye people, let us worship the Godhead in Three Hypostases; the Son in the Father, with the Holy Spirit; for the Father timelessly begat the Son Who is Co-ever-existing and Coenthroned, and the Holy Spirit was in the Father, glorified together with the Son; One Might, One Essence, One Godhead. In worshipping Whom let us all say: O Holy God, Who madest all things by the Son, through the cooperation of the Holy Spirit; Holy Mighty, through Whom we have known the Father, and through Whom the Holy Spirit came into the world; Holy Immortal, the Comforting Spirit, Who proceedest from the Father, and restest in the Son: O Holy Trinity, glory be to Thee

St. Porphyrios of Kavsokalyvia prays "O Heavenly King":

I love him.  :)
My best friend has met him personally (he was a troubled teen and his parents took him to st. Porphyrios to help), I did not have the privilige (I was not so close to the Church back then). He is a HUGE saint. His characteristic was that he was love incarnate.

The Sunday of All Saints Communion Hymn "Rejoice in the Lord" after Peter the Peloponnesian (early 19th c.) chanted by Charis Simeonidis, in Mode Plagal of 4th (unfortunately the sound of the ison machine is too artificial and digital, yet mr. Symeonidis' chanting is praiseworthy):

Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous; praise is meet for the upright.

Byzantine  Secular Music.  All 3 volumes are great. I'm  Not too sure how authentic or modernized  it is, but it's enjoyable  none the less.

"Axion Esti" (It is trully meet) after Peter Philanthidis (late 19th c.) in Mode Deuteroprotos (second-first, a combination of the 2nd mode of the chromatic genus with the 1st mode of the diatonic genus), chanted by Thrasyboulos Stanitsas:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3FvTXbd98M

It is truly meet to bless thee, O Theotokos, ever blessed, and most pure, and the Mother of our God.
More honorable than the cherubim, and more glorious beyond compare than the seraphim, who without corruption gavest birth to God the Word, tTrue Theotokos, we magnify thee.

A' Ἐωθινόν Δοξαστικόν - 1st Matinal Doxastikon after Thrasyboulos Stanitsas (+1987), Mode 1st, chanted by the "Ἐν Ψαλτηρίῳ" (en psalterio) Choir:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9BUBfYhCjA

Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit
The Lord stood before His Disciples, who had ascended the mountain for His being lifted from the ground. They worshipped Him, and when they had been taught that authority had been given Him everywhere, they were sent out to proclaim His Resurrection from the dead and His restoration to Heaven. And Christ, God and the Saviour of our souls, promised unfailingly that He would be with them for ever.

B' Ἐωθινόν Δοξαστικόν - 2nd Matinal Doxastikon after Peter the Peloponnesia (+1778), Mode 2nd, chanted by George Chadzichronoglou:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QwJ5Koi2X68

Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit
The women who were with Mary came bringing spices, and being at a loss how to attain their purpose, they saw the stone rolled away, and a divine youth calming the tumult of their souls, for saith he, the Lord Jesus is risen. Wherefore preach to His disciples to make haste to Galilee and behold Him risen from the dead as the Lord and Giver of life.
