Τhe extended 15th Antiphon from the Service of the Holy Passion (Holy Friday Matins) after James the Protopsaltis (+1800) in Mode Pl. of 2nd chanted antiphonally by the Archon Protopsaltis of the Great Church of Christ (Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople) Panagiotis Neochoritis, and the First Domestikos Stylianos Phlikos (live recording, Patriarchal Cathedral of St. George, 2016):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Kki_LQMjMg

Today He who hung the earth upon the waters is hung on the tree,
The King of the angels is decked with a crown of thorns.
He who wraps the heavens in clouds is wrapped in the purple of mockery.
He who freed Adam in the Jordan is slapped on the face.
The Bridegroom of the Church is affixed to the Cross with nails.
The Son of the virgin is pierced by a spear.
We worship Thy passion, O Christ.
We worship Thy passion, O Christ.
We worship Thy passion, O Christ.
Show us also Thy glorious resurrection.

Matinal Doxastikon from the Matins of Holy Friday after Constantine Pringos (+1964) in Mode Pl. of 2nd chanted by the Archon Protopsaltis of the Great Church of Christ (Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople) Panagiotis Neochoritis (live recording, 2016):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Yyf8c1mgKs

Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
They stripped me of my garments,
and clothed me in a scarlet cloak.
They placed a crown of thorns upon my head
and put a reed into my right hand,
that I might smash them like a potter’s vessels.

The Cherubic Hymn from the St. Basil's Liturgy on Holy Saturday morning, after James the Protopsaltis (+1800) in Mode Pl. of 1st, chanted by the Greek-Byzantine Choir (director Michael Zampas, live recording 2017):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPY1ouaP378

Let all mortal flesh keep silent, and stand with fear and trembling, and in itself consider nothing of earth; for the King of kings and Lord of lords cometh forth to be sacrificed, and given as food to the believers; and there go before Him the choirs of Angels, with every dominion and power, the many-eyed Cherubim and the six-winged Seraphim, covering their faces, and crying out the hymn: Alleluia.

Τhe 9th Ode from the Paschal Canon in Mode 1st chanted by "The Maistors of Psaltic Art" (director, prof. emeritus of Musicology, Capodistrian University of Athens, Greece, Gregory Stathis):
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xpshf3

The angel cried to the Lady full of grace: Rejoice, O pure Virgin! Again, I say: rejoice! Thy Son is risen from His three days in the tomb.
Shine, shine, O new Jerusalem, for the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee; dance now and be glad, O Sion, do thou exult, O pure Theotokos, in the arising of Him Whom thou didst bear.

The alleluiarion and the extended troparion from the Bridegroom Matins in Mode Pl. of 4th Triphonic, chanted by Emmanuel Hadzimarkos (live recording, 1960):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILTGVUGjCTk

-Learn righteousness, you who dwell on the earth.
Alleluia.
Behold, the Bridegroom comes at midnight,
And blessed is that servant whom He shall find watching,
And again, unworthy is the servant whom He shall find heedless.
Beware, therefore, O my soul, do not be weighed down with sleep,
Lest you be given up to death, and lest you be shut out of the Kingdom.
But rouse yourself crying: Holy, Holy, Holy, art Thou, O our God,
Through the Theotokos have mercy on us.

Matinal Doxastikon of the Aposticha from the Matins of Holy Wednesday after Peter the Peloponnesian (+1778) in Mode Pl. of 4th, chanted (amazingly) by the choir of monks from the Holy Monastery of Vatopaedi, Mount Athos:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dmTMJGz_Wg

Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
Both now and ever and unto the ages of ages, Amen.
O Lord God, the woman who had fallen into many sins, having perceived Thy divinity received the rank of ointment-bearer, offering Thee spices before Thy burial wailing and crying: "Woe is me, for the love of adultery and sin hath given me a dark and lightless night; accept the fountains of my tears O Thou Who drawest the waters of the sea by the clouds incline Thou to the sigh of my heart O Thou Who didst bend the heavens by Thine inapprehensible condescension; I will kiss Thy pure feet and I will wipe them with my tresses. I will kiss Thy feet Whose tread when it fell on the ears of Eve in Paradise dismayed her so that she did hide herself because of fear. Who then shall examine the multitude of my sin and the depth of Thy judgment? Wherefore, O my Saviour and the Deliverer of my soul turn not away from Thy handmaiden O Thou of boundless mercy".

Matinal Doxastikon from St. George's day in Mode Pl. of 1st after Constantine Pringos (+1964) chanted by the Archon Protopsaltis of the Great Church of Christ, Panagiotis Neochoritis (live recording):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haQAinZc044

Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
Spring hath shined forth as the dawn; come, let us celebrate. The Resurection of Christ hath appeared in splendour; come, let us be glad. The memorial of the prizewinner hath been revealed, making the faithful bright with joy. Come, therefore, O feastlovers, let us mystically keep the festival; for this man, as a good soldier, bravely defied the tyrants and put them to shame, becoming an imitator of Christ the Saviour’s Passion. Unto his own clay vessel he showed no mercy, but cast it naked into the forge, transforming it by means of torments. Let us cry out to him: O prizewinner George, make entreaty that our souls be saved.

The same doxastikon in its extended form after Peter Philanthidis (+1920) is chanted by the Holy Fathers of the Holy Monastery of Docheiariou, Mount Athos (live recording):

The Great Doxology after Kyriazis Chrysopolitis (+late 19th c.) in Mode Pl. of 1st Tetraphonic, chanted antiphonally by Ioannis Khassanidis & Constantine Lanaras (live recording):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPGoiGIdUn0

Glory to Thee, Who hast shown forth the light. Glory be to God on high, and on earth peace, goodwill towards men.
We praise Thee, we bless Thee, we worship Thee, we glorify Thee, we give thanks to Thee for Thy great glory.
O Lord and King, heavenly God, Father Almighty; O Lord, the only-begotten Son Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit.
O Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, that takest away the sin of the world; have mercy upon us, Thou that takest away the sins of the world.
Accept our prayer, Thou that sittest on the right hand of the Father, and have mercy upon us.
For Thou only art Holy; Thou only art Lord, Jesus Christ, in the glory of God the Father, Amen.
Every day will I bless Thee and will I praise Thy Name forever and ever.
Strengthen us, O Lord, this day to be kept sinless.
Blessed art Thou, O Lord, God of our fathers, and praised and glorified is Thy Name forever, Amen.
Let Thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, as we trust on Thee.
Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy upon us (x3).
O Lord, Thou hast been a refuge for us from generation to generation. I said, Lord have mercy upon me; heal my soul, for I have sinned against Thee.
O Lord, to Thee have I fled; teach me to do Thy will, for Thou art my God.
For with Thee is the fountain of life; in Thy light we shall see light.
Extend Thy mercy unto them that know Thee. Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy upon us.
Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy upon us.
Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy upon us.
Both now and forever, and from all ages to all ages, Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
Holy Immortal, have mercy upon us.
Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy upon us.

Τhe extended 9th Ode from the Paschal Canon in Mode 1st, after Dimitrios Kyphiotis (+1894) chanted by Ioannis Khassanidis (live recording):

Shine, shine, O new Jerusalem, for the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee; dance now and be glad, O Sion, do thou exult, O pure Theotokos, in the arising of Him Whom thou didst bear.

Mr. Khassanidis studied Byzantine Music at the Athonias Academy on the Holy Mountain, and he is the modern embodiment of the psaltic tradition at the Protaton, the major church in Karyes, the Athonite capital.

This may be the wrong place to put this so if it needs to be moved, moderators, please do so.

Samuel Herron is a professional acquaintance of mine.  I've taken some lessons from him via skype and have chanted some of his compositions which he has written in English and they are of excellent quality.  Byzantine music is undergoing a revitalization right now in the USA and many, if not most, of the composers of Byzantine music here in the states are increasingly, if not exclusively, using English as the language.  Mr. Herron is one of the people at the forefront of this effort.  He has recently issued a plea for donations here:  https://gogetfunding.com/the-hymns-of-st-george-on-bright-monday/ which is a sampling of Byzantine English music for St. George along with audio files (Something which is getting better, but also still lacking).  Anyway, I believe this to be a worthy effort so if any of you would be willing to see more Byzantine music in print done in the traditional style and in the English language, please consider donating to his cause.  Thanks.

Concert ob Byzantine music organised by Macedonian Church because of the jubilee of 100 years of the Ochrid Archbishopric
[that's not for polemical discussions]
It's the 1000th anniversary of the Archbishopric of Ohrid and not of the schismatic and unrecognized by the Ecumene, so-called "Macedonian" Church.
If you don't want polemical discussions why then are you using the name "Macedonian" Church which is not recognized by any Orthodox Church (not even the Serbian Patriarchate)? Why not just Archbishopric of Ohrid? Even on the video one reads "1000 godina Ohridske arhiepiskopije" but you had to name it "Macedonian" Church?

Because it was organised by Macedonian Orthodox Church (the one to which belongs about 90% of Macedonians), not by the Archbishopric of Ohrid (the boyd with a tiny group of believers under Serbian Patriarchate). I linked it for music and thought it's important to say who organised it (if someboyd wanted to say me that I promote schismatics - so it's choice of the certain person if she/he watches it or not).

First things first, you're a moderator, I find it highly inappropriate for a mod to express his/her political views, with an attitude.
Secondly, no they're not the ' "Macedonian" Orthodox Church (the one to which belongs about 90% of "Macedonians")' because they're not "Macedonians". They aren't recognized as such by the Orthodox Church, they aren't recognized as "Macedonians" by the UN. You're a moderator I would expect from you to be much more serious and not take advantage of your position as a mod and promulgate political beliefs not followed by other members of the forum.
Btw the sentence "that's not for polemical discussions" you ended your previous post with, is provocative and it seems to me your action was pre-medidated i.e. you wanted to cause strong emotions. Which I find inappropriate for a mod.
So, next time I would expect from you much more caution on dealing with controversial issues and not childish plays.
Thanks.

By  "that's not for polemical discussions"  I really didn't want to provoke any discussions, any negative emotions, as I said: I had it linked just for music purposes. We can discuss the issue of Macedonia in private fora. If I had made a mistake and I'd offened any poster, I'm sorry.

"It is truly meet" in Mode 1st after the Protopsaltis of the Patriarchate of Antioch, Mitri El Murr (+1969) chanted by the monks of Vatopaidi, Mount Athos:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tXRmxbxPsM

It is truly meet to bless you, O Theotokos, ever-blessed and most pure, and the Mother of our God. More honorable than the Cherubim, and more glorious beyond compare than the Seraphim, without defilement you gave birth to God the Word. True Theotokos we magnify you.

Communion hymn from the feast of the Sunday of All Saints in Mode Pl. of 4th, after Nicholas of Smyrna (+1887) chanted by fr. Thomas (+2014) of the Thomades brotherhood, Mount Athos:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fthXwYFNrpA&t=83s

Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous; praise befits the just, Alleluia.

Calophonic Irmos from the Dormition of the Theotokos in Mode 1st after the Metrpolitan of Neopatria Germanos (late 17th c.) chanted by Gregory Anastasiou, PhD of Musicology, Capodistrian University of Athens, Greece:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zt63oi9e6Vk

In thee, O Virgin without spot, the bounds of nature are overcome; for childbirth remains virgin and death is betrothed to life. O Theotokos, Virgin after bearing child and alive after death, do thou ever save thine inheritance.

Communion hymn for the Feasts of the Theotokos, after Peter the Peloponnesian (+1778) in Mode 4th "Aghia" chanted by Constantine Bousdekis:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EgIk3gH7rQA

I will receive the cup of salvation and call on the Name of the Lord, Alleluia.

The Great Doxology in Mode 1st after Peter 'the Sweet' Bereketis (+1710 or +1715) chanted by monks from the Holy Monastery of Gregoriou, Mount Athos (live recording):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymHbnlbvqsk&t=5s

Blessed art Thou, O Lord, teach me Thy statutes.
Blessed art Thou, O Lord, teach me Thy statutes.
Blessed art Thou, O Lord, teach me Thy statutes.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
Both now and forever, and from all ages to all ages, Amen.
Holy Immortal, have mercy upon us.
Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy upon us.
