Lord, have mercy on the Christians in Mosul!

« on: July 22, 2007, 01:12:24 AM »

God willing, I will finish a six-month course of study (self-initiated and self-monitored) with the first of my Microsoft Certification exams next Wednesday, July 25.  The test covers the Application Development Foundation of the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, the foundation for all Microsoft application development, and the first step along the way to certification as a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS).  I  am confident that I am well prepared, but I appreciate your prayers, considering that I see this as a very important part of my financial stewardship before God.

Hey, don't bring God into your greedy money-grubbing schemes!  Cheesy JK! Good luck and may the Lord help you to succeed in this endeavor!

Ah those expressive Italians! 'A tutti mangiare' indeed.

WOW!  Huh That test was much harder than I thought it would be. Huh  All the work that I had done over the past few months to study and prepare for today's exam was good for nothing more than a basic understanding of the material.  The exam, however, calls for a much a more advanced knowledge, something I can acquire only by practice, practice, practice, and more practice.

IOW:  I came.  I saw.  I got my butt kicked. Embarrassed  At least now I have a much better idea of how to prepare to take the exam again in a few months. Cool

Thank you all for your prayers in support of my professional endeavor today.

In Christ,
