Just received this email from a friend of mine...

Dear Fr. Thomas,

I received this note from Paula Kappos at Zoe for Life in Cleveland, OH.  Perhaps someone in your area would be interested?  Feel free to circulate the note as much as you would like.

Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

Christ is Risen!  We hope this finds you and yours well, and that you had a joyous Pascha.

We have received an urgent call from an Orthodox Christian mother of a severely autistic child.  She has four other children, and was married, but now is raising the family alone.  She is overwhelmed, and her heart is breaking, but she has contacted ZOE in the hopes that we could help her find an adoptive Orthodox family with whom to place her son.  She is looking for a permanent placement, and would welcome a single woman as well as the traditional two-parent family.

If you know anyone who would be interested in pursuing this with us, please have him or her call the ZOE office at 440-893-9990.  Kindly post this on your parish web site, or forward it to anyone you think might be of help in our search, and please keep this woman and her family in your prayers.

 In His love,

 Paula
