Greetings Smiley  Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on who you ask), I'm a Yankee. Welcome to the forum though!

Just thought I'd post for my first time in an appropriately titled board.  I hope to stick around for quite a while.  If I haven't been scared off in 6 months, I doubt it's going to happen now.

Justin,

Again, welcome to the board.  I guess the real test was that you weren't scared off in the chat room last night.  Grin

Never!  You guys are interesting enough to prevent the potential scare-off.  I was only disappointed to see Serge wasn't on.  I was glad to talk with you all, even as little as I did.  Still don't understand what 'who do you work for?' means....

Justin,

Just wanted to welcome you and apologise for getting confused when I heard Justin saying goodbye to Justin yesterday in the chat room.  It's finals week, you know...  Cool

Welcome, Orthodox Emperor! Welcome Justin!

I'm a plain, old American, but I have an ancestor who came from the island of Bornholm. Does that count?  Wink

Welcome Justin and Orthodox Emperor!

Emperor, I am not of royal descent, but I actually do descend from the lesser Polish nobility through my late father.  My father's noble line can trace its origins back at least three centuries, and the title of "Lord" was confirmed by no less than three Russian tsars!

Once more, welcome to you both!

Anyway, to answer Orthodox Empreror's question...
as far as I know there are no other members from Denmark.  Brigid of Kildare is from Ireland, although she hasn't posted much lately.

If you know any other europeans who would enjoy the board, feel free to send them our way!

Again, welcome to the site!

Christos Anesti!  Christ is Risen!

Welcome Orthodox Emperor,
I'm from Greece, well actually I'm from Australia and currently live in Greece (my wife is Greek though). Being Australian I actually do have a fair bit of european blood in me. I'm actually a mix of Swedish, Scottish and a bit of everything else from the British Isles.

John.
