Homosexuality is just another tool satan uses to keep people away from christ.

It has its origins in satanism and has rightly been condemned by Christians throughout history.

From saint Paul who clearly tells us that homosexuals will not enter the kingdom of god,to many feat saints and holy fathers of the church.

As orthodox we must stand firm in the traditions of the apostles and christ and oppose all forms of same-sex behaviour.

Many ex-homosexuals have left the lifestyleto join with christ.

The church should be doing more to outreach others to do the same.

It is totally incompatible with orthodoxy

There are many more pressing issues than this that need ot be addressed.

Christains need to unite to protect the murder of unborn babies(abortion),to protect children from same-sex parenting,to stop the attack on christianity through the media and so on.

That is right on there theognosis.
The orthodox church does not condemn the sinner but the sin.

The orthodox church wants people to come to it,repent and be one with christ.

I have met many people who have left and denounced homosexuality and become on e with Gods church.

Anything is possible through christ our lord.

You know, although he hasn't been pope long, I am beginning to really like Benedict. He seems to have a real Orthodox sense of holiness, that tradition is not something to be changed or dismissed when it's inconvenient but that it keeps us doing what will save us and keeps us from what will not. I look forward to many more reversals such as this. May God grant him many years.

I agree.
Although catholicism still has a long way to go before reaching the fullness of orthodox truth.

His zero tolerance on pedophiles and homosexuality,along with this change is to be highly commended though

Although she hasnt become orthodox christian(yet?),This is more proof of the power of prayer and repentance.

Out of curiosity, does this type of thread fall under the new quasi-restriction on homosexuality threads? Or shall we all start giving anecdotal evidence to support our position, with an obligatory "Nyah!" added to the end of each post?
