(OC.net Press---outside Stately OC.net Palace):
The populace of the OC.net world gathered in the courtyard of the Palace were excited today by witnessing white smoke rising from a palace chimney. As they gathered under the balcony for the Administrative Chambers of the palace, the OC.net Admin Council were joined by the fellow Moderators. Then, with great drama, the newest Moderator was ushered in and his hand was raised by the Administrators in a show of solidarity:
PeterTheAleut
The crowd cheered 'Axios' at their first glimpse of their new Faith Board Moderator, bestowed upon them through the grace of God.
AXIOS! AXIOS! AXIOS!

OC.net Palace sees revelry, only 2 arrests. (Asinine Press) Minimal police were necessary to quell the revelry surrounding the election of the new Faith Issues Moderator. Only 2 arrests were made for public intoxication, the lowest number ever and certainly a far cry from the disorder surrounding the "Synod of Spirits" a number of years ago. One of the men arrested was overheard babbling about Darwin and apokatastasis while claiming to be a canonist of the Ecumenical Throne. Constantinople has denied all involvement. Said the Administrative spokesman FrChris, "It is a sad day when our members cannot hold their liquor, especially on such a joyous day. We hope this does not overshadow the election of PeterTheAleut, and we are planning with continuing with the Election Games for the next three weeks. Tickets are still available for the gladiatorial battles!" Some of the cries overheard on the day: "AXIOS!" "ACCIDENT!" "YAY!" Only one man, in the back, was overheard saying "Where is SmoT?" www.whyonearthareyoufollowingthislink.darwiniscrying.com/thejokeisonyou/election.htm

That's a classic! The funny thing is that I have no Aleut blood in me, AFAIK. My patron saint Peter was the Aleut.
