Hello, my name is Amanda and I am a senior at UTSA.  I am doing a report on the traditions and events surrounding the Great Fast/Feast and Lent.  If anyone would be willing to give me information, I would be very greatful.  I have several books on Orthodox Christians but there is nothing specific, and I would like to find information that is more indepth.  Again thank you in advance for your time and information.  Please email me at azollintern@yahoo.com or post your message here.   Thank you, Amanda

There are many articles on these topics on the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America's special site dedicated to Lent: http://www.lent.goarch.org/
