Is it happening? If so, when is the day we have to turn in pictures of our beards for judging? What will the various contests be? I remember longest, sullest, most monastic like, but forgot the rest.

Yeah. I'm interested in it, too, although I won't be able to begin growing mine until the beginning of June due to work.
Are we to submit "Before" pictures to be compared with the ultimate "After" shots?
Besides, longest, fullest, etc., we could have a "biggest difference in before and after shots" category, or something like that. :bounce:

Yeah its been too long ago since it was supposed to start (Bright Monday) so I just say at the agreed upon date to end the contest me post our beards as of that day. What day should we go for? Nativity? That gives everyone 7 months to grow a nice, good, long, full beard. (And Old Calendarists get an additional 13 days to grow theirs out for the contest too  ) |

Just trying to get my foot in the door, actually! When my mom in law commented (thinking I was out of hearing range) that I "looked like a hippie" I knew that I'd better chop it off... ...until after I start working again, that is Then, my friend, we shall see who grows the most Orthodox beard! lol |
