Please pray for a loyal servant of God Maria, who reposed in Lord a couple of days ago. All her life was service to others. She was one of the founders of the parish back in 1950's. During or after the services, Mrs. Maria always tried to come to new visitors to the parish, regardless who they were and to warmly welcome them. On Sunday, some convert parishioners recalled how Maria was the first one to approach and to greet them during their very first visit, when they were still inquirers. As a registered nurse with many decades of experience, she easily understood the extent of development of her cancer, but kept a faith in God and in meeting with him in the eternal life.
Your prayers will be really appreciated. May God bless you!

What a wonderful woman!  I will pray not only for her soul, but also for your parish which has lost such a great and motherly person.  Memory eternal!

Grant Rest, O Lord, to the soul of Thy departed handmaiden, Maria.

I think the French may be on to something here.
