Dear Friends,
It's been a while since I've been here, but I couldn't let Lent go by without coming back and expressing my sorrow over the ways in which I have failed and grieved each of you. Forgive me.
Also, I wanted to let you all know that, God willing, on 14 March 2007 (Wednesday of Mid-Lent), His Eminence my Metropolitan will ordain me to the Diaconate during the course of the Liturgy for the feast of the Holy Cross, King Abgar of Edessa, and the Martyrs of the Syrian Church (which always falls on this day in Lent). Please keep me in your prayers as I try to prepare for a new role in the Church and, hopefully, the increased commitment and renewed way of life befitting that role.
Yours truly,
Phil
