I just have learned that Fr. Archdeacon Roman Skvarnavicius from Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral (OCA) in Boston passed away.

I even did not know that he was sick. Fr. Roman was a wonderful person and he will be missed by many. Lord, have mercy! Memory eternal!

The Lord forgive him and rest him from his labours.

Thank you for prayers.
Yes, he was Lithuanian. He was at least raised, and most likely, born in USA. A little bit more info about Fr. Roman has been provided by the site of the parish, where he grew up and then he was a regular concelebrant,

May his memory be eternal!
"If you are going to serve the Lord, be prepared for times when you will be put to the test. Be sincere and determined. Keep calm when trouble comes. Stay with the Lord; never abandon Him and you will be prosperous at the end of your days. Accept whatever happens to you. Even if you suffer humiliation, be patient. Gold is tested by fire and human character is tested in the furnace of humiliation. Trust the Lord and He will help you. Walk straight in His ways and put your hope in Him. " Sir 2:1-6

Memory Eternal! Fr. Roman was such a kind man...I had the pleasure of serving as an acolyte with him on a number of occasions. He would always warmly and sincerely thank all those who assisted on the altar. Anyone who has heard him serve will never be able to forget that voice!
