Ecclesiae Occidentalis hymnorum scriptores non habentur pares esse cum scriptoribus orientalibius.  Sanctus Ambrosius aut Coelius Sedulius aut Fortunatus sunt maximi et optimi scriptores hymnorum in occidentale sicut sanctus Cosmas aut Sanctus Johannes Damascenus sunt in orientale. Ut possim canere plures hymnos occidentales in orientale ritu exopto.
