Ich studiere Mathematik an der Universität von Texas. Ich will einen Aktuar sein. Anfangen dieses letzte Semester, studiere ich Deutsch. Es ist für mich sehr schwierig aber ich mag es. Ich sollte mehr üben. Ich bin katholisch aber ich bin an der Orthodoxe Kirche interessiert.
Hey guys. I finished my first semester of German in college and thought I'd post. Is Aktuar the right word for actuary? Leo (the dictionary site) thinks so but online translation sites seem confused by it. Also, my last line is "I am Catholic but I am interested in the Orthodox Church." Does that sentence OK? I'm not sure how to write "the Orthodox Church" either.

Wow, du und ich sind sehr ähnlich! Ich bin momentan auch Katholiker aber eines Tages trette ich auch in die Orthodoxe Kirche ein (weißt man, ob hier "eintretten" richtig wär?). Ich studiere auch Mathematik! Ich freue mich, dich besser kennenzulernen!
