OC.net Welcomes Welkodox As New Board Moderator
dateline: OC.net Administrative palaces
A hush passed over the bustling crowds gathered under the FrChris Admin palace's balcony, as they had noticed an unexpected development: white smoke curling up from out of a chimney!
Soon, the balcony doors opened and FrChris walked out accompanied by Welkodox. FrChris lifted Welkodox' arm and proclaimed loudly with his usual clumsiness "It seems right to the Administration and to the Holy Spirit to have found a new sacrificial lamb---er, I mean Moderator---for the Orthodox-Catholic Board!"
The stunned silence was immediately broken by the crowd with the deafening roars of
AXIOS! AXIOS!AXIOS!
At least, this is the scene played out in my head! The important item in all this in that Welkodox is our newest Moderator, who will serve as our Orthodox-Catholic Board chief!

I haven't had an orthodox career, and I've wanted more than anything to have your respect. The first time I didn't feel it, but this time I feel it, and I can't deny the fact that you like me, right now, you like me!

I'm considering proposing a change to the description of the Orthodox-Catholic Board to the following:
Discussion of issues which unite and divide the Orthodox Church and the Roman/Eastern Catholic churches (in Communion with Rome). Barring that, discussion of how much we dislike the Dallas Cowboys and how difficult it is for fans of that team to find a place in normal society. Sarcastic, snide and/or caustic commentary on the Dallas Cowboys will not only be tolerated, but will be absolutely encouraged and in some cases rewarded.

I demand an inquiry. Dan, As former mod of this board, I think you should pull rank on Welkodox and banish him to moderated the "prayer forum" (as we both know, there is a lot of hot action in that room - perfectly suited to his obvious abilities - as derived from the lucidity of his comments toward the beloved Boys!)

I am thinking of it, but I fear Fr. Chris may pull another McCarthy scare and pursecute non-OSU fans. Father: "Have you now or have you ever not been a Buck-eyes Fan?" Also, Welkodox may lead those in the prayer forum in heavenly revolt against the Cowboys. Thefore, in the true Russian fashion, I hearby banish him to Siberia and to have control of the Russian Forum. ANAXIOS! ANAXIOS! ANAXIOS!

Turkish Coffee !!!!!!!!!!!!1 For shame. It is not referred to as such on this site for fear of arousing the wrath of many of my Serb brothers and other peoples that had to suffer under the Turkish yoke for many centuries. I demand a recount. Who nominated this man as moderator

Oh by the way, I am available for culinary, Orthodox politically correct tours of North Jersey you have a choice of Arab, Portugese, Coptic - Italian, Greek (diner variety), Polish and several in-between. You also will see many of the small Orthodox churches tucked away in urban formerly Eastern Eurpopean immigrant neighborhoods.

You see the problem with appointing instead of electing! Rash decisions!
No moderator here (of sound mind) would ever say T-----h coffee. The use of T-----h coffee was stricken from use (here) many years ago and now we bring in this rookie and he throws everything off kilter.

No moderator here (of sound mind) The pickins are slim, so now you guys are getting the ones without sound minds. Deal with it!!!! I also know aserb can't be too offended, as he already sheepishly admitted that Czech Slivo is vastly superior to Serbian. I think I'll fit in though once the modetorial Njegos cap arrives that I was promised. Speaking of New Jersey, here is my favorite headline of the day New Jersey Warns Residents Not To Eat Squirrels Near Toxic Dumphttp://www.nbc10.com/news/10843917/detail.html

I confess my Serbian brothers that Czech slivo is smoother, mellower to the taste. Forgive me. But then again I also prefer French wines to California
