Aw man I missed the IU-Illinois upset and the Lakers Celtics game. I gotta stop sleeping through every afternoon and staying up every night.
Well, I can show you video of the Hoosier defensive gaffe that allowed Illinois to score the game-winning basket if you want.

I hope he's able to do better in Cleveland than he did in Portland. It was sad, even tragic, to watch him bust as badly as he did for the Trail Blazers--82 games total in four years due to three season-ending non-contact knee injuries, all of which required major surgery. Even so, during the 82 NBA games he did play, he looked as if he had the potential to live up to his billing as the Number 1 draft pick he was--he was picked even ahead of Kevin Durant, and for good reason. I'd like to see him get a second chance to show what he can do, and I'd like to see his knees not derail his career again. He always seemed like a quality young man (who just happened to suffer through one of the toughest stretches of bad luck one can imagine). http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/02/08/report-cavaliers-about-to-offer-greg-oden-multi-year-contract/related/

MIAMI -- LeBron James scored 30 points in another efficient performance, Dwyane Wade scored 20 and the Miami Heat dominated the middle two quarters on the way to an easy 111-89 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night. King James does it again. Most "King James Only" Protestants are probably Heat fans.

For next year: NFC North makes me nervous, but I hope to be living in Chicago next season, so being able to see my Bengals play there could be cool.

Here we go…!! I am excited about a season that brings a bit of uncertainty. I will miss some of the old faces and names that I think will be gone, and not so much a couple of others that will be gone. Wish them all well though. Go Steelers!!

I love this guy's game. Victor Oladipo, who plays for the Indiana Hoosiers. One of the best college players I've seen in a while. Unlike most players today, he has a complete game. Great ball handler, excellent shooter, knows how to get to the basket, plays tremendous defense, can rebound, and is proficient at the free throw line. And he has a great feel for the game. He doesn't force things, but makes big plays in big moments. He was outstanding last night in their close win over conference rival Michigan State. Keep your eye on Indiana and Oladipo the rest of the way. He is a special player. A joy to watch. Selam

Well actually we know all about cap hell because the salary cap did not grow as originally intended. We are stuck restructuring contracts every year and can't afford anyone good in free agency.
But you gotta pay to win the Lombardis.

So the NFL just passed this newfangled rule having to do with RBs using their helmets or whatever as battering rams. I don't necessarily agree (or disagree) with the new rule, but I will say that it's nice to see them get a weapon taken away. It frustrates me to no end how someone can barely snag a facemask for 1/2 a second and get a penalty, yet if we call it a "stiff arm" and it's a RB, well hey, you can put your hand into a facemask and snap a guy's neck back like you're trying to break it, and that's perfectly fine.

Auburn players in the NFL will adapt easily to this new rule. They've never been accused of using their heads. Selam

It's a weird bracket when the 12-seed Oregon Ducks are in the Sweet 16 and 1-seed Gonzaga ain't.

It's a weird bracket when the 12-seed Oregon Ducks are in the Sweet 16 and 1-seed Gonzaga ain't. Gonzaga was an overrated team (only 2 games against Top-25 teams) not worthy of their #1 seed. Miami-FL, being ACC champion, should have been the #1 seed. Pac-12 and Big-10 have done well in this tournament.

Jose Mourinho reiterates FIFA 'coach of the year' award 'fix' claim http://sports.ndtv.com/football/news/205316-jose-mourinho-reiterates-fifa-manager-award-fix-claim"One, two or three people called me to say they had voted for me and in the end another name appeared in their votes. Therefore I decided not to go." Thoughts?
