Clemente He played his last season 16 years before you were born... and yet you saw him? That's quite impressive!

Clemente One of only two players inducted into the Hall of Fame posthumously, the other being Lou Gehrig. I assume you are not counting inductions by the Committee governing players whose eligibility to be elected by the sportswriters has expired? They elect long forgotten and dead players and others all of the time.

They elect long forgotten and dead players and others all of the time. Thanks for the clarification. What I meant to say is that Lou Gehrig and Roberto Clemente are the only two players elected posthumously to the Hall of Fame by the Baseball Writers Association, the committee responsible for the first round of elections.

So if Dont'a Hightower becomes a Steeler does that make you a Steelers fan Gebre?
I have always liked the Steelers. They were my favorite pro team growing up. I like the Rooney family and respect the class of the Steeler organization. The Steelers and the Saints are my favorite pro teams (although, as you know, I don't get into pro sports very much.) Selam

Usain Bolt Math Shows Olympic Sprinter Could Run Even Faster
"So if Bolt could get his reaction time down to say 0.13 seconds, which is good but not exceptional, he'd make some improvement on his overall record time of 9.58. It may only be few hundredths of a second, but it's certainly room for improvement."
Barrow has also worked out the top wind speed Bolt would be allowed within Olympic rules to have helping him along - a maximum of 2 meters per second - and the optimum altitude at which he could race in thinner, and hence less resistant, air.
Adding them all together, Bolt could be looking at a new 100-metre world record of 9.4 seconds, without actually running any faster, Barrow said.
"The point I'm trying to make is that we're not going to be reaching the limits of human speed anytime soon," he said. "And there's no reason to assume Bolt is going to be just shaving fractions of hundredths of seconds off each time. There's scope for some quite big improvements."

Before the baseball season started I said: I predict that the Pirates will only lose 90 games this year... hooray! I actually like quite a few of their position players... they're not all-stars by any means (except perhaps McCutchen, and maybe Alvarez if he develops like they say he might), but many of them seem solid. Then again, considering where they have most of their money tied up, and considering their potential starting rotation... ugh, it's gonna be another long season. The Pirates just played their last game of the season. Their record? 72-90. BOOYA! Who da man? Who can make predictions like an old testament prophet!? This year I'm guessing they'll go about 78-84... oh, and the Pirates will give up on Alvarez...

According to press accounts, Tebow received his first phone call from Jets coach Rex Ryan:
"Hello? This is Tim Tebow."
"Hi, Tim, this is Rex."
"Rex Iudaeorum?!"
"No, Rex Ryan."
"Bummer."

I like how Terrence sought to make amends for running over a Louisville cheerleader in his futile attempt to save an errant pass. (Evidently, she needed stitches to sew up the wound on her head after that collision.)
