Congrats to Boston. I'm not sure how much it was you destroying us, and how much we just played like bums... but either way, you were a whole lot better.

thank god this embarrasment is over

Maybe we can trade Fleury and Kris Letang for something more valuable, like a sack of potatoes or something.

Keep floppin' Miami. Keep floppin'.

This series is just too funny. Even if the Heat do win it all, they have drastically underachieved with the way they have played. I've said it before and I'll say it again: The Heat are soft as South Beach!

Selam
Oy! :( You and your lack of perspective. The 1992 Chicago Bulls team that won 67 regular season games the year after winning their first ever NBA title and is considered by at least one source to be the best of the six NBA champion Bulls teams--yes, even better than the team that went 72-10... They needed a full 7 games to beat the Knicks in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. One thing this year's "underachieving" Heat team has in common with that great Jordan led Bulls team: The Heat have yet to lose consecutive games in this year's playoffs.
This just in: In this year's playoffs, the Heat are unbeaten with an average victory margin of 22 points in games immediately following a loss. Granted, to win this series they need to actually win consecutive games, which they failed to in the Indiana series.

That was ugly! Total dominance by the Heat against a great team. When those guys decide they actually want to play, they're unstoppable. Which is once again why I don't respect them. So much talent and so much potential that is too often stagnant and unfulfilled. But perhaps tonight the switch was turned on permanently. We'll see. But hats off to them for a great game tonight. That's for sure. I wonder how the Spurs will bounce back from this one.

Peter, do you ever see anything positive in anything I post, or are you just drawn to negativity? Our vision is often determined by our outlook.

Gebre, the same could be said for your posts. Your posts about the Heat are generally so full of negativity that on the odd chance you actually say something positive it's a backhanded compliment. "Which is once again why I don't respect them." You took a positive and twisted it around to make it a negative. Maybe, then, your accusations of me are actually an accusation of yourself. Do you ever see anything positive in what the Heat do on the court, or are you just drawn to negativity?

Our vision is often determined by our outlook.
A little self-examination goes a long way, Gebre.

Y'all remember how the University of Louisville won the NCAA Tournament? Well we're going to the World Series, too! And that's on top of winning the Sugar Bowl in football and reaching the championship game of the Women's Basketball Tournament.

Louisville clearly has the best athletic program of any college in America.

Y'all got it going on for sure! Louisville football ain't no joke right now. I grew up in the ATL as a Georgia Tech fan, so I have a soft spot in my heart for urban centered universities. And it's really cool when they do well in football. So, congrats bro. You are right to be proud.

Maryland was on top of the college athletic universe with multiple bowl appearances and wins, men's and women's basketball championships, women's lacrosse and field hockey championships and men's soccer championship.

Now Maryland will be neck to neck with Northwestern and Rutgers in the Big 10.  At least Maryland will play Johns Hopkins in Big 10 men's lacrosse.

I'll take that as a compliment. I like Skip Bayless. Don't always agree with him, but I enjoy watching him debate. He's not nearly as annoying as Stephen A. Smith.

I missed Skip and Stephen A's discussion yesterday. It was obviously an incredible block. Lebron played like a man in that game. Props.

How many steps is Wade gonna take?

Also, Cole did pretty good in his debut. Let's go Bucs!

Spurs, with their young players leading the way, avenge Game 2 33-5 run by the Heat.  Now the Heat need to lose back to back (and back) games for the first time since February.

Actually, no. The Spurs don't need to beat the Heat in back-to-back games to win this series.
