The TIDE continues to Roll, trouncing Ole Miss 52-7! Trent Richardson rushed for 186 yards and 4 touchdowns in only 3 quarters, proving why he belongs at the top of the Heisman list with this unbelievable 76 yard TD run (the best TD run I've ever seen by a BAMA running back, and that's saying alot!) Watch the move he puts on at the end of the run, at about the 15 yard line! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAb3wihkQsc&feature=player_embeddedSelam

I just hope LSU keeps underestimating us. Oh, I don't think we underestimate you guys at all. Although, LSU does have a tendency to get cocky, which would be our downfall. Even if we play in the BCS Natl Championship game, you guys are probably going to be the toughest team we'll face all year. We are just confident, and both LSU and 'Bama deserve to have confidence going in. We'll just have to agree that Nov. 5 will be one of the best, if not THE best college (american) football match of the year.

The starting center for the Buffalo Bills team that advanced to four straight Super Bowls (only to lose them all), Kent Hull, is reported to have died today at the age of 50. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/NewsCore-Former-Buffalo-Bills-lineman-Kent-Hull-dies-at-51-101811A tidbit Gebre might be interested to read: One of Hull's most memorable college games at Mississippi State was a 6-3 win over top-ranked Alabama in 1980.

Go National League!
1. The Cardinals have had their time in the sun, the Rangers not yet. 2. The one and only time the Rangers' owner, Nolan Ryan, won the World Series (NY Mets - 1969), he was a virtual non-factor because of his youth. GO RANGERS!

Two of LSU's star players - Tyrann Mathieu and Spencer Ware -have been suspended for at least this Saturday's game against Auburn for allegedly failing a drug test. Somehow I'm guessing that they will conveniently be available to play on November 5. http://www.wtvm.com/story/15732824/report-lsus-mathieu-and-ware-suspended?clienttype=printableSelam

And Game 3 goes to... Albert Pujols. First player since Reggie Jackson (1977) and only the third ever (Babe Ruth being the first) to hit 3 home runs in a World Series game.
Cardinals win 16-7 to take a 2-1 series lead.

On a day which saw LSU manhandle Auborn and Texas Tech put one over on Oklahoma in the latter's crib, Cal pulled a mild upset on Utah, and the honor of most points scored by one team in BCS games today and most lopsided score went to TCU, who thoroughly clobbered New Mexico to make the Frogs' Homecoming celebration memorable and serve notice on Boisie State that the MWC championship this year won't be a cakewalk.

Not surprisingly, the Ducks beat Colorado 45-2 with their second string QB Bryan Bennett and RB Kenjon Barner playing the whole game until their lead got out of hand. The Ducks would have had a shutout if Cliff Harris hadn't pulled off the bonehead play of the day by fielding a punt at his own 2-yard line. (Just let the damn thing go and start possession at the 20, dude!)

After a soporific first half, my CRIMSON TIDE emerged from a 6-6 halftime score to prevail against arch-rival Tennessee in convincing fashion. Final score: 37-6. A wonderful "Third Saturday in October"! If LSU can keep everyone out of jail, the showdown on Nov. 5 should be one for the ages. But I think character will prevail, and thus the TIDE will Roll over the Cajuns in a classic.

6-1 to City..didn't expect that to be honest, Balotelli is really starting to come into his own on the pitch. Good game for Džeko as well, bagging two on 90 minutes, though by this time United's defence looked like they couldn't give a toss anymore. City five points clear at the top.

Those blokes didnt do anything illegal Gebe they just broke a school rule, so they didnt go to jail (So stop saying that false information please). Also, LSU proved yesterday that they didnt need them.

There was that incident at the start of the year where a couple of LSU football players actually had criminal allegations made against them.

Tebow will take us to the Promised Land: Denver 18, Miami 15: The Broncos appeared beaten when they trailed 15-0 with 5:23 left and took over at their 20. At that point Tebow was 4 for 14 for 40 yards.
`It was my fault we were in that position," he said. "Silly things kept happening. On the sidelines, we were still believing. We wanted it, and they believed in me for more than 60 minutes."
In the frantic final minutes of the fourth quarter, Tebow led TD drives of 80 and 56 yards sandwiched around a successful onside kick. He scored a 2-point conversion standing up with 17 seconds left to tie the game. The first time Denver ever won in Miami. Tebow doesn't wear a watch. He decides what time it is.

Tebow will take us to the Promised Land: Denver 18, Miami 15: The Broncos appeared beaten when they trailed 15-0 with 5:23 left and took over at their 20. At that point Tebow was 4 for 14 for 40 yards.

But one does have to look at the other side of the story. The Miami Dolphins blew a 15-point lead in the final 5:23 and lost to show once again why they have the longest current losing streak in the NFL (9 games). If the Dolphins, who had sacked Tebow five times before the comeback, had not stopped playing the pressure defense that forced the rookie QB into such a terrible game, would Tebow have been able to lead his team on such "amazing" drives?

And Game 3 goes to... Albert Pujols. First player since Reggie Jackson (1977) and only the third ever (Babe Ruth being the first) to hit 3 home runs in a World Series game.
Cardinals win 16-7 to take a 2-1 series lead.
16 runs on 15 hits in one game, 0 runs on only 2 hits the next, and the Rangers are even at 2-2.

I feel bad for them, but at the same time, I wanted to see the Saints hang 70 on them, just to see that kind of score. (I'm not a Saints fan at all). My Falcons won today, so this weekend has been a good one for me.

They ain't much without Peyton Manning, are they? Why you don't build a team around a QB. Sure it's worked in the past, but when it doesn't expect blowouts. Patriots 100+ against them.

You do realize that Gebre's not talking specifically about the recent suspension of two of your players? There was that incident at the start of the year where a couple of LSU football players actually had criminal allegations made against them.
And if I am correct, Mr. Jefferson didnt commit any crime in that situation as well, so yeah. Again, not true.
