Hello all,

This thread is directed at all the native Greek speakers out there.  I've been searching for the letters of St. Antony in Greek online, and have not been successful.  Simply put, I just want one phrase translated: 'He who knows himself knows God'.  I really like that quote, and would like to have it in the original Greek.  Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Please pray for me.

I'm not a native Greek speaker, Cephas, but I do know ancient Greek.  I do not know this particular quote, but if you let me I'll take a shot.

After trying to do Greek (which pales to my Latin  Grin), I remembered Augustine had a similar dictum where he remarked, "May I know you so that I may know myself" which, in Latin, is noverim me, noverim te.  This is from his Confessions. We all need a little Latin now and again, right?
