Looks like an interesting group of nominees for the month of May. For those of you not famliar with the process, the winner of the OC.net site of the month will receive a prominent link on the index of the site, a writeup by an admin/mod in the board news forum, and permission to use the OC.net site of the month award banner.
Please vote and feel free to discuss the merits of the sites below. Thanks for your participation!

Are non-Orthodox sites not eligible?

I don't want to make a definitive statement without consulting the other admins/mods, but here is my take on things: OrthodoxChristianity.net is a site dedicated to the discussion, education, and propagation of the Orthodox Christian Faith. While we welcome all of our non-Orthodox members and greatly appreciate their input, I think that sites nominated for Site of the Month express the description stated above. If you feel there is cause for an exception(perhaps a Roman Catholic page on Catholic-Orthodox reunification), feel free to post it in the nomination threads, but it will be up to the consensus of the admins/mods to approve. Since we are a motley band of miscreants, you shouldn't have too much trouble.

Ok, got it Thanks. Next month I'd like to make a case for including http://www.ccel.org/ . I will also nominate an Orthodox site that is similar, like Saint Pachomius Library (I think they each have their strong and weak points.)

Sounds good to me, although most of the good stuff at CCEL is also available from Monachos.net. Has the St. Pachomius Library having problems? Last time I visited half the texts there weren't available.

I voted Fr. Alexander's site. I've used it extensively in my studies and apologetics and after my first visit to an Orthodox Church the Hieromonk of the mission (who is now my Fr./Confessor) gave me that link to explore for more info on the faith which I would later embrace

You're right Nik, but as long as the URL is fatheralexander.org I'm sure it will continue to be referred to as such.

Last minute bump.
I'm giving you until 11pm EST to vote and then I'll lock the votes and declare the winner. If you haven't voted yet, now is your chance.

I suppose I could, but then again now we will have three posts in this thread in the 10 most recent posts for a while. Hopefully that will bring the lurkers out.

At least it's had a better response than the last two months There were 11 votes two months ago, and 7 votes last month. Perhaps moving it up in the list of threads would help? It's the thread that was last posted on in this section of the forum, yet it's the fifth thread down from the top.

With double the votes of its nearest runner-up, www.fatheralexander.org is the winner for May! I have emailed the webmaster(which appears to be Bp. ALEXANDER himself) and hopefully they will accept our award. Thanks for voting all! I only edited this post to fix a grammatical mistake--anastasios

Too bad you can pm everyone and have more people vote. pming people is not going to make them vote more. they can read this message and vote--they probably just don't care. They should care because last month's Onion Dome winner brought in 400 hits to this site. So next month I expect voting results in the 30's. It takes 1 minute to do it... anastasios

Just an FYI, I have e-mailed Bishop Alexander twice. One time he responded to me, the other he did not. I think he is a very busy man so he may not reply to the e-mail for site of the month.
