Apostles and Early Fathers
« on: April 18, 2012, 11:18:48 PM »
Do the really early Fathers (Ignatius, Clement, Polycarp, etc.) ever mention meeting members of the Twelve Apostles in any of their writings?
Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood.

Seems to me, Ignatius mentions in one of his letters that he and Polycarp were disciples of John.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
