Have a blessed Nativity ( old calendar christmas )
« on: January 07, 2007, 05:28:31 PM »
I wish to all the Oriental Orthodox who celebrates the Nativity according to the old calendar a very blessed Nativity ... Merry Christmas
 ... Christ is Born ...
We believe that our Lord, God and Saviour Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Logos, is perfect in His Divinity and perfect in His Humanity. He made His Humanity One with His Divinity without Mixture, nor Mingling, nor Confusion. we Anathematize the Doctrines of both Nestorius and Eutyches

As we say in the Armenian Church,

"Kreesdos dzunav yev haydnetsav!"  (Christ is born and revealed!)

We missed passing out our Nativity cards to fellow parishioners on (civil) Dec. 25 and didn't get around to some folks until today...so we just said, "Happy Old Calendar Nativity!" to folks who got them today.

Works out.
