Talked to the coptic priest this morning.
« on: December 14, 2006, 04:34:54 PM »
He informed me that two members of the youth group are asleep in the Lord now.  I don't know what happened, whether car wreck or what, but I'm sure the folks at Saint Mina could use a quick prayer.

Kyrie Eleison,
Kyrie Eleison,
Kyrie Eleison.
My soul waits for the Lord
More than those who watch for the morning.
Yes, more than those who watch for the morning.

Lord have mercy!!!

Past posts reflect stages of my life before my baptism and may not be accurate expositions of Orthodox teaching. Also, I served as an Orthodox priest from 2008-2013, before resigning.

Lord, have mercy.
Religion is a disease, and Orthodoxy is its cure.

Lord, have mercy on them. May their memories be eternal!
"O Cross of Christ, all-holy, thrice-blessed, and life-giving, instrument of the mystical rites of Zion, the holy Altar for the service of our Great Archpriest, the blessing - the weapon - the strength of priests, our pride, our consolation, the light in our hearts, our mind, and our steps"
Met. Meletios of Nikopolis & Preveza, from his ordination.

Good heavens.

They were the victims of a convenience store robbery.  Shot them both, and severely wounded a third fellow.

I didn't know if this was the correct story or not, until I read the names of the victims:

Heck with it, I'm praying again.

Kyrie Eleison,
Kyrie Eleison,
Kyrie Eleison.

O Lord, have mercy upon Your servants.  Lead them into the green pastures by the waters of rest, for we have no helper in our hardships and tribulations but You.

Grant them rest, o Lord, and grant us the Peace which the world cannot give.

Got a news cast link that shows Fr Boutros of Saint Mina's.  Two of the men had a bail hearing today (which the judge rightfully denied).
