I was under the impression that the Philokalia was for use by Eastern Orthodox only, no? Otherwise I would get it...

Gisasargavak,
I know very little about the Philokalia, but I think it is a compilation of writings from different Church Fathers. I think some of them are not Church Fathers from the OO tradition, but some evidently are. I think some of St. Evagrius' writings, for example, are in there.
I have never heard it recommended as reading in the Armenian Church. I have, however, seen it at a Coptic church's bookstore.

Thanks, Thomas!
Is it still available, or is it out of print now?
If it is still available, where can Zak get it?

The Philokalia is a collection of Hesychastic writings spanning from (I think) the 300s to the 1400s. St. Evagrius' writings on prayer are included.
