Prayers for my mother
« on: November 15, 2006, 04:08:21 PM »
My mother just notified me that she's had two episodes so far this week where she has had impaired vision and, just two days ago, had trouble remembering the names of the kids she cares for in the afternoon--she had to look at their nametags to call them by name, and she sees them every day.

She has high blood pressure and a family history of strokes, but hasn't conceded to go to a doctor for about five years.  This has scared her enough to make an appointment--next Monday.

Please pray she is sustained safely until she sees the doctor, and that the doctors will be able to treat her successfully.

Lord have mercy.
If you're living a happy life as a Christian, you're doing something wrong.

David,
Very sorry to hear, my friend. She and all your family are in my prayers. May God help your Mom now and always! Lord, have mercy.

Prayers for your mother...

Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference.
