Dear in Christ,

Robert and I elected Fr Chris to move from Sr Global Moderator to Site Administrator effective immediately.  We are pleased that he has accepted.  Basically, he will have the same responsibilities but now will have the powers to enact what needs to be done without having to ask Robert or me.  We felt that his excellent tenure merited giving him the full promotion.

Robert and I congratulate you, Fr Chris, and wish you many years!

I read this announcement this morning and was tempted to make a quick reply. Now that I've thought about it however, I am so glad to read this news of Fr. Chris's promotion (elevation?).

For so long here I have lamented that lack of input from our clergy; this despite many priests, monks, deacons, bishops(? -who knows?) who are members here and post sometimes, usually in "stealth mode" - not revealing themselves as clerics. I wondered when someone would take up the challenge. Again, great news!

Now that this has been dealt with - let's leave this thread for congratulations to Fr. Chris and an apology (if he wants) from IamSaved.

So does Fr. Chris' new promotion mean that the rest of us get the scraps?

Actually, does it mean that there might be MORE administrators in the future?

Or even more moderators?

Or even more positions?

THE BEUROCRACY!!!!!
