I know three people who look exactly like you and they all listen to metal, like fantasty books and play warhammer. It was a guess.
Did used to read a lot of fantasy books as well (Conan, Tolkien, Dragonlance, Forgotten Realms, etc.), but Warhammer 40k or Warhammer Fantasy? I have a 40k Tyranid army in the works. I appear to be a clairvoyant.

Have you lost weight, trevor? You look good/happy there I lost a little over 40 lbs. this summer, thanks for noticing. I'm so much happier. My parents are finally getting along, I'm losing weight, on my way to university, and now it looks like I'm going back to Church. I couldn't be happier with the way my life is going. Wow this is great.

We all look like that brother. Take hope in the unfailing mercy of God. His love is most profoundly evident in our weaknesses and sins. I would not know the light if I had never experienced the darkness. And even after knowing the light, I still choose darkness. Sometimes I can't pull myself out of the depths. But the Cross always lifts me up. I keep waiting for God to turn His back on me. After all, I've turned my back on Him too many times to count. But my sins can no more thwart His love than a fly can obfuscate the sun. Selam

Nephi, I think you like metal To be honest I really used to during my teen years, but I never listen to it anymore. And relevantly enough it was mostly an eclectic mix of different European metal bands. If I see a man with a ponytail, I know he probably like metal music or he's an Orthodox (or both of them). Very nice picture, you and your wife look very happy A "little" crush? I think that he is having an Icon painted of her. And yes, he looks Nordic. ps - he will get me back for this. I am Swedish except for a Norwegian great-grandfather and an English great-grandmother. I was drinking Linie Aquavit and eating gravlax that evening.
So it explains your not so obvious American citizenship and why I liked the picture. Yeah, it confirms that Scandinavians are my type of man (I mean appearance of course) Vamrat was having a little crush on you. I hope he's Scandinavian. I had to find the meaning of the expression "have a crush on somebody" Never before have seen/heard it. But, please, no icon, it would be a schlock one And I'm sure you poverrate Vamrat's feelings toward me Punch has posted pictures from the Christmas Even in which Vamrat is present too, and as I could notice, he's definitely blond, so that's good

he's definitely blond, so that's good Grin So, only blond men stand a chance? No, I just prefer blond men, but there are some men with black hair and dark eyes that I really consider as good-looking. But there was no man without beard that was attractive for me (I don't count the times of primary school of course ) Yeah, beard is more important than hair's colour . BTW, You look very good in the picture (I mean your avatar)

Nice picture. Artsy black and white. Reminds me of a Humphrey Bogart movie. As an aside, is smiling in pictures becoming more common in Europe?

I made it B&W because it was a bit blurry (there was quite dark in there) and my eyeballs were terribly red.

How one does "try to look like European"? Leather jacket, cigarette, square-toed shoes? Oh, that's Russian hipster.

This is me, Fr. Jacob (left) and Fr. Chris (right) back in May when I became a catechumen.
For those who havent heard, Fr. Jacob passed away yesterday. Pray for him, his family and our parish as this is certainly a difficult time.

This is me and my friends at a Christmas party in 2011. I'm the guy in the back at the far right. This is me when I was Baptised on June 23rd, 2012. The Priest holding the Gospel over me is Fr. Michael, the other one is Fr. George. The old couple to the far right are also converts, they were made catechumens the day after I was baptized and were just received about two months ago. The little boy to the far right sitting down bored is my brother.
