Now Montalo, this is a teaser. When did you get married, quietmorning? I love your hair! My friend tried a similar curl on mine and it fell like a limp noodle during the ceremony. Ah, I'll trade my stick straight hair... We are celebrating our wedding anniversary tomorrow - four years. My hair is a funny story!! It wasn't quite supposed to look like that - as when I went to the hair dresser to get it 'done' - the whole building moved to another city. (Thanks to Google maps!) So. . .one of the maids at the Inn we were staying at volunteered to do my hair for me. . .and she did a lovely job. But it was supposed to be more Edwardian. I love what she did, though - and wouldn't trade it for the world. She volunteered on her the only day she had off in weeks, bless her heart!

Don't worry Ismi, I doubt I'll see much more than 5.
It's a bet I'm hoping you will lose. Maybe I will post another picture of myself. I am getting over my insecurities since I am going to be starting a blog and featuring yours truly in every post. Sigh. Oh, I can't wait. That wasn't for you; you must be sick of my face by now. Dare I ask?

I think that being linked to friends in LinkedIn is just hilarious. WHY would being linked to a pharmacist help me?
And yet we do it anyway.
Anyway, PMs all around if we want to do an OC.net circle on Google+ or something.

It's a nice photo. And you are a very handsome young man! A lot of those around here. Midlife already? In my family, I am pretty much hitting my deathbed. But I tell you I am shocked by how the men my age do behave. I always thought a mid-life crisis was a joke, it ain't. And it seems to hit some around age 35. Hair plugs, sports cars, anger toward younger women, the whole package. But this is where my many troubles have spared me others, when your whole life has been an enormous crisis, you don't notice such bumps on the road. Don't worry Ismi, I doubt I'll see much more than 5. Then there's the quarter life crisis where they just move back in with mom and dad... My grandmother wants me to live with her, would that count as a quarter life crisis and allow me to live like 152 years? I suppose having you around for another 114 years wouldn't be so bad, assuming that I'll live to be at least 135. But by that point, there would probably be an anathema against Jasonism (I'm willing to take bets on who from this forum will charge you with heresy at the next pan-orthodox council). On the down side, the futuristic, high-tech Orthodox monarchy will have been restored by that point, so you'll probably spend your time in exile/prison for heresy under the watchful eyes of a team of robowardens.

I keep getting invites for LinkedIn. I don't exactly understand the purpose. I tried Google+ but they won't allow pseudonyms so that didn't last long. I simply won't do anything online with my real name. It would be too easy to find me.

My husband and I were fairly familiar with music gear from our teens on. When he got a job at Guitar Center we learned even more. I am just bummed that all the good companies are being sold off and the quality isn't the same. I used to dream of getting a Tobias, my husband wanted a strat. Instead we built my husband his dream franken-castor thru Warmoth. They have an INCREDIBLE chambered Stat body that has the most amazing sustain. I found an almost replacement for my Ernie Ball. I just need to switch out the pick-ups.

This is what I look like all the time.
If that was a Stratocaster, I would swear that you managed to get a certain part of your anatomy caught in the springs. I play bass, and even I know that is NOT a strat body- tele all the way That tele is a honky-tonk machine from 1968. Not a reissue. The pickguard isnt original and the middle pick up was added by my grandfather way back in the day before it was a valuable guitar. Because of his modifications, its not worth near as much as it should be today! Ah, but the value in terms of memories is priceless! I see you have a Marshall in the background too... its just an external cab that i was using with a fender prosonic i had back then. (please dont confuse the prosonic with the supersonic) i dont even know where that cab is right now... i should actually find it so i can sell it. dont have much use for it now...

Even if we have thousands of acts of great virtue to our credit, our confidence in being heard must be based on God's mercy and His love for men. Even if we stand at the very summit of virtue, it is by mercy that we shall be saved. — Chrysostom BLOG
