It was about the most flustered I have ever been from an internet post. lol

I figured you were from here from the mutual friends, but it would have been awkward if it was someone else...

Very nice! Folks, click on the link it's a great Christmas portrait.

Can't you show it in your post?

No, it doesn't work with that site. Besides, it disappears after a few days. You shouldn't leave too many traces around on the internet. When I run for prime minister some posts here might come back to haunt me.

If that picture is traced back to this site with all my posts on it I might have to explain a post or two to my future constituents.

An imbalance in my C193 macra-electrolyte levels has turned my face yellow. :-\ Thankfully my doctor said that with three weeks of consistently taking my tears-from-an-infant-newt-eye drops I will be back to normal.

I'm not a big fan of selfies, but I was on top a stone arch in Canyonlands National Park last summer and couldn't resist. There were about 700ft+ drops on either side of the ~4ft wide arch I was on.

I wonder if you can appreciate the magnitude of the gap between someone's being willing to show a face to others online and someone's being "addicted to selfie-posting."

The previous photo is my youngest grand-daughter/grand-child in the hospital on the day she was born, just a month ago.  Until she was born, THIS guy -- my youngest grandson -- ruled the roost:

And now I've just heard from my two editors ... (the next two youngest) ... who are annoyed that THEIR photo wasn't used:

Sorry if I used up too much space or bored anyone.

"The business of the Christian is nothing else than to be ever preparing for death (μελεπᾷν ἀποθνήσκειν)."

— Saint Irenaeus of Lyons, Fragment XI

Modernist thinking and being consists of nothing but uncritical acceptance.

Taking up too much space?  Never. Boring? Not at all. Cute, darling, wonderful those are better words.  Welcome to the forum.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
