Tragic.  Let's try one more time:
Happy shall he be, that shall take and dash thy little ones against the rock. Alleluia.

Thank you;  and they're extremely silly to boot!

^ German Shepherds have that streak in them.  They are among my top 2 favorite breeds.

My top 3 would be German Shepherds, Belgian Shepherds (Tervurens, especially), and Corgis.

Stumbled upon these pictures of myself from 8th grade, circa 2008-2009. Back when I was going through that awkward, hormone-filled not quite a teen but not quite a kid stage.

Until I see the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come, I will not believe.

I could have sworn that the 2nd dog was a male.

What is the 4th dog?  ;)
The term planet earth is an innovation which has arisen in recent centuries with the error of heliocentrism.

If one wants to confess a pure doctrine of Orthodoxy, they should be careful not to refer to the earth as a planet, unlike the current Pope as well as Patriarch Kirill and Patriarch Bartholomew, who regularly speak in error when they refer to our planet earth.

The one closest to the fire is some weird mutt, very hairy.  We don't know where he came from.  I don't even think he's a dog, but he's fond of steak and beer.

Well, he can't be all bad then.  Just be cautious. Mutts can have an uneven temperment. I recommend crating him.

Uneven...no kidding.  He's cranky when he's hungry or sleepy.  And he eats too fast.

I'm a bit jealous. Your life can never be boring with dogs like that. ;D

They're a lot of fun.  Noble is a non-stop dog...he will play fetch for hours and hours if you let him, without taking a break to drink water.

My parent's German Shephard is like that too. It's kind of cute when huge, maybe 8 years old German Shephard acts like few months old puppy.

It's the herding instinct that drives them; German Shepherds also take a lot longer to mature.  Noble is about 4 years old and he acts like a puppy.  A lot.

I usually study in this public rest stop in NJ, and for the first time, I had the blessing of the Malankara Orthodox Metropolitan stop by, so I approached him, told him my name is Mina, I'm Coptic.  And before he left, I asked him for a picture and for his prayers in my studies.

I don't look well-groomed for the occasion, but it's not everyday you get to meet His Eminence this randomly, and of a sister church :)

none of those are really nutritious.......reconsider your location

I usually study in this public rest stop in NJ, and for the first time, I had the blessing of the Malankara Orthodox Metropolitan stop by, so I approached him, told him my name is Mina, I'm Coptic.  And before he left, I asked him for a picture and for his prayers in my studies.

I don't look well-groomed for the occasion, but it's not everyday you get to meet His Eminence this randomly, and of a sister church :)

you study off a toll road????

Yes

You do realize that this will not help you prepare for the afterlife, yes?  :P

Lol! My goal is milk and honey (and maybe some bread, meat, and potatoes on the table as well) :P

all you are going to get at the rest stop is burger king, nathans hot dogs and sunken.....

none of those are really nutritious.......reconsider your location
most of the time I bring my own food ;)....it's the location and the convenience of it that attracts me

Can you walk or ride a bike to it?

Wow people have this fascination of this rest stop! Lol!

I drive.
Vain existence can never exist, for "unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain." (Psalm 127)

If the faith is unchanged and rock solid, then the gates of Hades never prevailed in the end.

One doesn't associate rest stop with studying.

BTW, I pump my own gas in NJ; I don't care about the law.

O Virgin pure, immaculate, O Lady Theotokos
Rejoice, O unwedded Bride!
O fleece bedewed with every grace, O Virgin Queen and Mother
Rejoice, O unwedded Bride!

i am anti-toll road....so finding a toll road rest stop -convenient- seems so odd....

(I lived in NJ for two years and tried valiantly to avoid the turnpike as much as possible)

All opinions expressed by myself are quite tragically my own, and not those of any other poster or wall hangings.

cops do give tickets for that. Be careful.

It sounds odd, but if you can study in a noisy starbucks, you can study in a fairly good rest stop.  It has outlets, internet, opens late, fairly safe and it's on the way to home from my review course.

Ooooooo...ya I don't deliberately drive to a toll road rest stop from home. It just happens to be convenient from my ride back lol

Wow- you learn something new everyday! I mean, I remember being a kid and having an attendant pump gas back when that was more common, but it was always optional. My mind is blown.
