My top 3 would be German Shepherds, Belgian Shepherds (Tervurens, especially), and Corgis.

Stumbled upon these pictures of myself from 8th grade, circa 2008-2009. Back when I was going through that awkward, hormone-filled not quite a teen but not quite a kid stage.

Well, he can't be all bad then.  Just be cautious. Mutts can have an uneven temperment. I recommend crating him.

It's the herding instinct that drives them; German Shepherds also take a lot longer to mature.  Noble is about 4 years old and he acts like a puppy.  A lot.

I usually study in this public rest stop in NJ, and for the first time, I had the blessing of the Malankara Orthodox Metropolitan stop by, so I approached him, told him my name is Mina, I'm Coptic.  And before he left, I asked him for a picture and for his prayers in my studies.

I don't look well-groomed for the occasion, but it's not everyday you get to meet His Eminence this randomly, and of a sister church Smiley

I usually study in this public rest stop in NJ, and for the first time, I had the blessing of the Malankara Orthodox Metropolitan stop by, so I approached him, told him my name is Mina, I'm Coptic.  And before he left, I asked him for a picture and for his prayers in my studies.

I don't look well-groomed for the occasion, but it's not everyday you get to meet His Eminence this randomly, and of a sister church Smiley

you study off a toll road?Huh

Yes

You do realize that this will not help you prepare for the afterlife, yes?  Tongue

Lol! My goal is milk and honey (and maybe some bread, meat, and potatoes on the table as well) Tongue

all you are going to get at the rest stop is burger king, nathans hot dogs and sunken.....

none of those are really nutritious.......reconsider your location
most of the time I bring my own food Wink....it's the location and the convenience of it that attracts me

i am anti-toll road....so finding a toll road rest stop -convenient- seems so odd....

(I lived in NJ for two years and tried valiantly to avoid the turnpike as much as possible)

Wow people have this fascination of this rest stop! Lol!

I drive.

One doesn't associate rest stop with studying.

BTW, I pump my own gas in NJ; I don't care about the law.   laugh
cops do give tickets for that. Be careful.

It sounds odd, but if you can study in a noisy starbucks, you can study in a fairly good rest stop.  It has outlets, internet, opens late, fairly safe and it's on the way to home from my review course.

Ooooooo...ya I don't deliberately drive to a toll road rest stop from home. It just happens to be convenient from my ride back lol

Wow- you learn something new everyday! I mean, I remember being a kid and having an attendant pump gas back when that was more common, but it was always optional. My mind is blown.
