Okay, here it is. Only available for a few days. As you can see, I am a tad bit on the larger side, and I don't really look very Egyptian.

Great photo!
I love your room.
You do look Egyptian....and you are hardly a "larger" size.
You are younger than I had thought.  Perhaps you stated your age somewhere, but, I missed it.

Yeah...Putin unnerves me, though.  Why is he sharing a wall with all the saints?

Just saying....  Wink

I was always taught, that if the icons share a wall with non-icons...then the icons must claim the highest position on the wall...as the Godly kingdom reigns higher than any earthly images.

I don't care much for Putin, so.....  Wink

This is "the Kraken" our dog. You can also see most of our youngest daughter in the picture. She is wearing her beloved Darth Vader "Choking Hazard" T-shirt, with Arnold the Pig from Kipper the Dog tucked into the collar. She has had a love for Darth Vader since 6 months of age. We postulate that she will fall in love with a man that uses a C-PAP and has sleep apnea.

Edit: I just used the same site Severian used, because I am too lazy to find my own.

@LizaSymonenko Thank you for being so gracious. I did try to lay it out so that pictures of normal individuals were not higher than Christ or the Saints, but logistically my room doesn't really allow it because there's so much other junk (I should probably do some early spring cleaning). Anyway, I can understand why you don't share my admiration for Putin Wink. I mostly admire him for his stances regarding Syria, Egypt, and the persecution of Middle Eastern Christians, no matter how politically motivated said stances might be, I still respect him in that regard.

It looks odd to me, but I presume that the tiara must be understood spiritually, as an ontologically subjective reality witnessing to the deification of the noetic faculty in man.

Officially got a tattoo yesterday on 2/18 for my 18th birthday. It only cost about $60 and was a gift from my grandparents. Boy though, it hurt like heck getting my wrist tattooed. I had to struggle not to cry in front of the tough biker guy artist who gave it to me.

Although not quite the thread for it.....so let me get this straight....he gets a tattoo....goes and repents and confesses....

is he -honestly- going to be unhappy he got it...or will he smile at it every time he now has to wear a long sleeve shirt to his job?
 Cheesy

Please note this is not me getting on James' case at all....I have a tattoo as well...and I cannot see how 'repenting' of it yet still having it and still liking it.....are compatible...its repentance for the sake of saying you did.....'I have sinned but i still really like it'   which seems very problematic to me....

Happy birthday James!

Don't forget to repent of it James, getting a tattoo is a sin (don't believe me ask your spiritual father). Angel be with you.

That's why we should ask our spiritual fathers if we should do something before we do it Wink

At any rate James, today celebrates the day God brought you into this world. Many years!
