Right now I somehow feel like a rootless cosmopolitan .

This probably sounds ridiculous from someone like me who still lives within the same country in which he was born but anyway, join the club. I don't know how cosmmopolitan I am but ditto for the rootlessness. I feel being just a generic European.

Btw, do you surf with a phone? You seem to have problems with quote tags quite often.

I don't think it'd be irrational... this is the internet, after all. Having said that, I doubt much harm would come of it on this particular forum.

Those are older as am I. Maybe I posted in thread that got nuked due to Achronos' ranting or something a few years ago, why I had those photos, some of the few you can find taken in earnest. It was a whole thing, but thanks for the compliments. They are hard to take.

JamesR's description of his imaginings of me was hilarious. I gotta find it.

Known fact to those who know me, I literally can't "see" things in my mind, so I can't, well see stuff in my mind (nor "hear" either) so I don't get pictures of people or really anything, if I try, I can make a simple geometric shape happen. Which leaves me fascinated by the fact others do.

So what did you think I looked like?

I wouldn't say I can "visualise" in my mind what I imagine a person to look like.  That looks and sounds like nonsense, but I can't really explain it much better than that.  I just have a sense, and it's hardly foolproof.

When JamesR didn't know I had a photo buried in this thing:

http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/4703/dsc00240ap.jpg

What the heck, why not. Here is a picture of me visiting my grandmother wearing my favorite shirt, which also happens to be the shirt I wore to Pascha. I am highly anticipating seeing a picture of Orthonorm and Nektapolic. I imagine Orthonorm as being really old, possibly on the chubby side, with a huge beard. While on the other hand I imagine Nektapolic as being really tall with blondish brown hair, big green eyes and possibly 5 o'clock shadow.

Orthonorm, Nektapolic, get over here.

LOL! To be honest, as much as I am as pale as they get, I haven't thought of myself as white hardly ever. I've used nearly every racial epithet for them, since I was young.

I don't feel black either. I don't talk like no (word to describe the white twist on Black English).

In short, I am all things to all people. Jumping around a lot as a kid and having to deal with blacks and white trash and being ripped out of my socio-economic class due to a brain malfunction allowed me to pass a lot.

I feel most comfortable in America around lower to working class blacks and whites, especially if the latter are from more rural backgrounds. Cause that's how I grew up.  I lived in a rural country tossed back and forth between the projects where all the blacks lived or a crummy trailer with the trash.

Holy crap my description actually wasn't that far off. Anyhow, I hope to be just like you when I grow up Jason Smiley

Btw, I googled your name, is this you?

It was first on Google for me.

Your description was way off, you weirdo.

And yes that is the famous photo Achronos used for the explodingorthornormhead.gif.

It's a whole thing, had to pose for a photo I thought would go nowhere for a pittance of money. As I alluded to above, I had / have a thing about my appearance (for reasons too long and personal, I think I am hideous at best, which I am OK with, I just hate photos of myself). Anyway, so I've had almost no photos taken of me. But I promised I would sit for this one. I worked in a medical college at the time doing working IT and I grabbed a buncha clothes from various people in IT (you can imagine that motley crew, I didn't and don't wear glasses) and went all Isa for the photo.

When I saw it hanging in the college in 3'x2' glory I begged them to take the money back. I winced a whole lot later when I found it online then more when Achronos posted it here along with my entire biography, which is why the thread was nuked perhaps. Anyway, it was exposure therapy I hadn't planned on.

I like you, orthonorm.

Orthonorm looks like if Beck and Tom Cruise had a baby, and that baby grew up to be a model for some sort of distinguished gentleman's clothing line.

Not bad, is what I'm trying to get at.

Edit: In the older photos, I mean. Don't know what's going on in the hat-bearing photo. I don't really frequent this thread.
