Whenever he speaks, he raises the congregants to heaven.  A true pastor, a true scholar, a true holy man of God, a true giant of history in the Coptic Church, a true blessing!  An undefiled saint and a practical and loving priest!  His Very Reverend, the hegumen Fr. Tadros Yacoub Malaty, and I was blessed and honored to have served with him today in Liturgy, which today we celebrated the Feast of the Annunciation, in Spotswood, NJ.  God bless him and keep him for us for many more years!

There are some of his works available here for free.

I don't think it is not that simple. IIRC if the coat has three buttons it's the middle one that should be buttoned.

Also, there could be some differences between Eastern European, Western European, Continental, British and American customs on this.

Your father (I think that's your father, to your right laughing in profile) looks exactly like this Baptist fellow who keeps giving me tracts and pamphlets on the bus every time he sees me pull out my prayerbook and/or Bible on my morning commute.  It just hit me how uncanny the resemblance is.

I went to an Easter vigil Saturday night, and the back of my head was featured on the official Facebook page of the Orthodox Church in America!

So that's what it takes to make me excited these days. Also, that's a piece of one of St. Paul's bones near the bottom-left.

You are correct. I indeed was Western Rite. Actually, I am still blessed to do Western Rite, but there is no need at the local parish, which is a standard Russian Orthodox parish. So sometimes when I travel, I serve Western Rite, which I have done at St. Nicholas ROCOR Monastery in N. Fort Myers, Florida, and at the Russian Western Rite Vicariate Conference in August 2012 and also at the Conference in October 2011.

Pictures of such a Western Rite Liturgy, are on the Oremus blog at http://sarisburium.blogspot.com, under the post entitled "WR Conference 2012 a Great Success."
