Is it best to gain weight from working out or eating?
William, I am an expert.
I was determined not to look emaciated despite being able to eat around 4.5kcal daily and not gain weight.
If that is truly your case, then we can talk.
Most people who can't gain weight underestimate their caloric intake.
Some of us do have higher metabolisms. I do.
I've astounded folks since I was a kid in ability to pack it away.
Getting to 225 lbs at 6" and still having a true 32" waist was the realization of a goal I thought I could never do.
It required a lot of eating, sleeping, and intense but little working out.
After I got to that weight, maintaining 180 isn't hard. But I can still slip to as little as 158 during a fast or when I don't feel well for a while.
But 158 was the heigh end at one time for me in terms of weight as an young adult.
Not everyone is Celticfan:
Blessed with great genetics.
Blessed with a great work ethic.
